exhaust mount?

I want to replace the mount for the exhaust that goes from the CAT to the crossmember. But I don't know what it is called or where to find it. Does anyone know? Once I do get one does anyone know how to replace?

I would get rid of it and move to a standard setup. If you ever break an engine mount, the way it is designed it will probably break the exhaust manifold. It has no flexibility to it. I would just throw it on a lift or take it to an exhaust shop, cut off that piece and just have them hook up a normal rubber hanger.

Just went down and looked at it, it looks to be tied into the tranny mount. Mine is shot now and the pipe is rattling against the Xmember. I would have to weld a new post up to put a new hanger there And I don't have a welder.

like I said, cut it off and head to Meineke. I doubt they will charge you $20 if you walk in and hand them a hanger and say hook this up.

 

I am biased though, I hate that crossmember mounted design, later XJ's do not have it anymore.
