Have a chance at another 89, its an origional 4X4. needs floorpan (very little rust but still some, and needs bed work, but also comes with another bed that has very little rust on it. pukegoat, 4.0 rebuilt 80000 km, ago (50,000 miles???) comes with a bunch of new "junk" for it. prices 600 Canuck. Do I make a bad decision and pass it up? do you guys think its worth it? its also a SWB elminator ( i think)

if i am not mistaken the eliminators were only 2wd to start with. but if it has the "power 6" engine and the 10 hole alum wheels that look like bead locks (sort of) then it could be one. or maybe it was turned into a 4x4 as a project. here is a pic of my one i just sold for an idea of the rims. but those two options are the only real way to tell if its an elim if it doesnt have the stock paint.

1989 and the BA10 is not unherd of but more likely its a AX15... '89 was a cross over year, but more AX15's went in than BA10's.

Look for the seam running for to aft, revealing its a two piece case, if so its the BA10.....

i'm working on it. I still need the guy to back down in price a little (as I am still putting myself through school). He sounds like he is willing to help me out. Depending on the shape I may keep this one origional and still build the other. I know it needs a floor pan but its supposedly pretty solid n e way. I will still cut it out and replace what's needed. it passed the emissions test, needs some tired and a wind sheild wiper to pass safety. could have a nice weekender

id have to say ive seen alot more BA10s in 89s than AX15s

a chance at another jeep thats got a rebuilt motor and 4x4 for 600!? GO FOR IT!

Aint that weird!!!

Of the four 89 XJ/MJ's I have owned all but one, (thats a AW4) have been AX15's!! I know of a couple more who are also AX15's . While my brother in law and couple friends w/88's ALL are BA10's.

Books say 89 was the cross over year...guess it depends on part of the country tgey where sold in.....
