lower jeep
ok this might sound weird but has any one put a 4linked grand cherokee rear axle in their mjs? how hard was it to do and is it worth it?
Sir Sam
ok this might sound weird but has any one put a 4linked grand cherokee rear axle in their mjs? how hard was it to do and is it worth it? The ZJ and WJ axles are crap. The only advantage they have going for them over any other axle is that they already have some 4 link brackets on them. the 8.25 from a 97+ XJ would be a better choice, for that matter an exploder 8.8 would be fine. You would still need to make 4link brackets and arms, but you would need to do those anyway with a ZJ, WJ, or WK rear end(with the exception of the axle side brackets). BLHTAZ
Yea...you don't want a GC rear axle. They are either a D35 or a D44 with an aluminum center (differential) section.
