xj_dummy
Is there any aftermarket companys that sell a clutch brake gas assembly for my 86? Or what years and other models can I use? Or what can I do to fix mine? bushings? The reason is I think I bent mine. :wall:
1974CJ5
This is under the assumption you are talking about an 86 MJ... Is there any aftermarket companys that sell a clutch brake gas assembly for my 86? crownautomotive has the parts I believe, you will have to check with a dealer. Most off road shops are crown dealers, walcks 4x4 (you have to call 'em there site is pretty uninformative) Quadratec used Crown also, but it isn't a part they are going to have in a catalog; gonna have to call. Or what years and other models can I use? XJ brake pedals with the same engine/transmission configuration as your MJ would most likely work, I am sure someone will post shortly with that exact info. Pete M
The only difference I know of in the pedals is the brake light switch changed a bit over the years (and I'm not sure when the changeovers happened). Beyond that, pedal failure isn't exactly common and I haven't heard of a whole lot of pedal swappin' stories. I would stick to the older MJ/XJs. I doubt that engine choice will make a difference, but again, Idon't know for sure. :hmm:
