BookspanS
I have shift on the column, and I can't seem to get the bezel around the gauges and radio out. How do I get it around the shifter?
jtdesigns
Try dropping it in low. might have to kinda flex it till it pops out.
BookspanS
It also doesn't want to come past the rise that the column shift creats on the actual comumn right in front of the bezel
jtdesigns
pull the top out and flex it till it pops out. Sometimes you have to kinda force them to come out.

BLHTAZ
Unless you loosen the column to drop it down a little, you will have to do as JT said and use a little "persuasion" and hope that you don't end up with it in multiple pieces. I don't have the column shift, but I have had mine out about 7-8 times now and I grit my teeth every time hoping that it doesn't break.

Thinking about it breaking reminds me to tell you that if you let your truck warm up pretty good it'll be less likely to break, then if everything's cold.. Plastic is brittle when cold. :smart:
BookspanS
Will it still warm up if my heater don't work?
deziped
Just remove the two nuts holding the column up & let it drop. It makes removal a lot simpler. Why risk breaking stuff.
