Trans. drain plug ?

I was wandering if there is some kind of special socket that anyone knows of to remove the drain plug from a peugot?

It is a sqaure female but smaller than a 3/8" rachet and larger than a 1/4".I tried the best I could to get a caliper in ther to measure the I.D. and it's pretty close to 5/16",any help would be great.
