BLHTAZ Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 They are interchangeable, but the TJ springs are a little lower spring rate so they will not give as much lift on an MJ as they do the TJ. From what I have seen on here in other threads, the TJ coils typically give about 1.5" less lift on an MJ than they are rated to give a TJ. tjbliley Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 What taz says is about right. I am running 4" ?TJ springs on the front and got about 2.5" of lift from them. This works well with a AAL and Chevy Drop Shackles in the back to give you a nice rake. This will allow you to clear 31's with the right wheel backspacing.
