motor swap

Recommended Posts

You can use an HO, but there will be changes necessary. How much of a hassle those represent depends on which way you choose to make the HO work with your non-HO vehicle, and how much you enjoy beating yourself on the head to avoid doing a job the easy way ... which would be to use the correct engine for the vehicle.

Hi Pete. I was reading my XJ book last nite, the one with your MJ in it ! lol .

My motor is really wore out. knocks, smokes, leaks you name it . It does it. It still gets me where i need to go but just really wore out . I can get a motor at the pull a part for 150 .

I always need to check, because there have been plenty of times when someone thought they needed a new motor, but what they actually needed was a tuneup, or a new cat, or new parts in the fuel system. You know, things that a new block wouldn't fix.

And yeah, it's pretty sweet having my baby in a book.
