Do you have Hard Water Marks on your glass?

Clean it.

 

I stumbled onto a way to clean window glass, outside mirrors, and glass head lites that have hard water spots. I used turttle wax polishing compound and steel wool.

I am assuming that you used some VERY FINE form of steel wool as it seems that steel wool would scratch the glass and make problems worse to me.

I've just used this stuff called "Lime-Away" or some such. It dissolves the mineral deposits without scratching.
