V8 ZJ Swaybar Swap

Does anyone know if there is a detail missing from this guide?

I got the 26/27MM ZJ bar. But I had a difficult time bolting down the bar to the link.

I kind of get the feeling the ZJ bar might need to be drilled out where it bolts to the link after comparing the MJ/ZJ bar.

 

Edit: I see the original writer has aftermarket quick disconnect links. That may account for my different experience.
