says it's for a 4 banger jeep. thats what i have.

But it also says 80-81 and that's not what you have. That part is for the carbed CJs I believe. Looks sorta like the E-box in my buddy's old bronco with the carbed engine.

It also says it's for Jeeps with a Delco distributor ... which no MJ has.

 

That thing would be for old CJs and Eagles with the old 4-banger engine.
