Are the Frender Flare Retainters for the rear two flares the same langth as the Cherokee's rear two Flare retainers? I know the back two flares on an Mj are longer. Thanks. Jason M :USAflag:

I work at a local dealership and have a budy at another. I gave him the part numbers I needed. He tracked down the two rears down over in Montana. They were sitting on a shelf collecting dust. I got the two for $100 dollars. That price includes my employee discount. Also what do you mean by PT blast? Jason :USAflag:

The main reason why why I am replacing the flares is because the first owner smacked the both of the rear ones up real good. they are cracked and dented. Jason M :USAflag:

On my comanche I have the black plastic flares. Over the years they have faded and are in bad shape. I was woundering if Jeep only used one shade of black on all the production years on the MJ. The reason why I am asking this is I was lucky enough to find two brand new flares for the back. the only thing are they are not painted. The fronts are easy to find. but the rear is like finding a needle in a hay stack! Does any one know the paint code for the shade of black that came from the factory? Thanks Jason M :USAflag:

Because of the water leak, it cause the passenger floor pan to have slight surface rust. Today I killed the rusted, and primed the entire floor pan. Most of it was damage by little rust spots. Hopfully tomarrow I can paint the floor pan Colorado Red. Ontop of that I am going to use 3M rubberized undercoating spray on the entire floor of the truck, to lock out any moisture. it is designed for frame rails, floor pans and the under carage. Then I'll put in the carpet, bench seat, and trim peices. I'll be surprised if it ever rusts on me again. Jason :USAflag:

Thanks for the feed back. Right now I am looking at the OEM clutch kit from Quadratec. Funny story :headpop: November of 2005 I payed Phills Transmission to take out the tranny and replace the clutch with an entire clutch kit and resurface the fly wheel. My truck went back to their shop 12 different times to get the problem fixed. They do not back up there warrenty. My Jeep has a really bad clutch chatter problem. Soon I am going to do another clutch job, I'll also replace the flywheel, rear mail seal, and I'll put Mobil 1 synthetic in the tranny. I have learned that if you want somthing done right, you have to do it your self. The thing that pissed my off the most was I basically pissed away 900.00 dollars to have it fixed the first time. I am going to be replacing my clutch soon and am woundering if any one has bought the clutch kit, or the flywheel from quadratec. If so, how do you like it. It seems to be a great deal for the price, compaired to the center force kit they sell. Jason :USAflag:

After running water over the cab for an hour there was only a little bit of water leaking into the cab. I would say it is about 97% fixed. Lets hope its fixed tomarrow so I can put the truck back together. Thanks Jason Miles :USAflag:

I finally had a chance to look at the truck today after work. I sealed around the window frame. I did find a small pin hole along a seam on the outside of the cab. dirctley below the window. so i also sealed that. I'll water test it tomarrow. Thanks. Jason Miles :USAflag:

My MJ has a 1 peice window. I have plans to put in a two peice later on. Right now my truck is at the shop so i can't look at it now. tomarrow i'll look for any pin holes. do you think the hole is infront of the window? Jason Miles :USAflag:

The interior of the MJ is stripped except for the dash, bench seat and one seat belt. I can see were the water is coming in and it is from the bottom corner of the window. now this pin whole, is that normal? did the comanche come from the factory like that? so it sound like i would have to take out the seal to repair the leak, is that corect? I'll check it out tomarrow. would you recommend filling the whole with seam sealer? Thanks, Jason Miles :USAflag:

hello to all the Camanche owners, I am new to this form and am need in some help. about two weeks a go I noticed that the carpet in my 1992 MJ was wet. So i took apart the inside, hung up the carpet to dry and installed the bench seat so i could drive it. Next i poured water all over the truck. I found that the back window was the problem. That week i had our glass guy in the body shop R and I the window. I let the truck stay inside the shop for two days so the glue had ample time to dry. Yesterday I did another water leak cheak, and it is still leaking. now inside the cab on the lower left hand corner of the window that is were its leaking. Would the weather strip around the window cause this leak? mine seems a little bit loose. when i have a chance i will post a few pics of my 1992 MJ. she looks brand new. thanks for helping out! :USAflag: Jason Miles
