    plate covers

I was thinking, we have stickers for comancheclub.com, and thats cool. But I was wondering, why not have plate covers that say "Its a Jeep thing" or "Its an MJ thing" on top and at the bottom of the plate cover it would read "www.comancheclub.com" I would run this as a poll but I want to know if theres an interest and how possible is it to do? after all I'd buy one. If its possible, someone I guess could run a poll on it. I guess thing number two on that would be price and stuff, y'all got any opinions?
  2. Ah, I'm a happy Jeeper again, it was just a loose cable, I shoved it back into the rubber hose and spun it for awhile, then it locked back into the transmission. Everything works now, sept I'm still using my old gauge system with the big dummy fuel gauge *sigh* well tomorrow is another day and possibly then I can reassemble the other cluster, roll up the mileage on it as it wasn't too far off, and replace the trip thing cause its broke. anyway, thanks for the input. Jeep on!
  3. well it worked before i pulled on the cluster so it isn't the speedometer, and no i couldn't swap clusters, i tried to but my speedometer guage didn't fit in the cluster i was going to put in, so i put the old one back, i just hope i didn't break it the cable. ill see if i can plug it back in the transmission, hopefully that isn't too hard. if its broke, looks like more time at the yard. well hopefully its just disconnected, anyway thanks for the help.
  4. Hey I'm one of the new guys, I've read most of the posts here, all of them seem to have helped me in one way or another, but now I have a problem, I was taking out my gauge cluster, and the cable that hooks up to the speedometer either disconnected or broke, I know they're all different (yard experience) mine looks like a toilet snake, and it slid out of its rubber tube housing when i pulled on the cluster, and i know i didn't pull THAT hard, so where does it connect to? how do i get it back on? do i need another one? I reconnected everything (new gauge cluster didn't fit my speedometer) and I can't see how fast I'm going, all the other clusters work, albeit that doesn't help much. If someone else posted information on this, I couldn't find it. only other detail I can think of its an '88 Comanche Pioneer 4.0, 5 speed stick, if that helps. oh and I HATE the big dummy gas gauge  which is why I'm doing this in the first place.
