that's what a Full Floater axle looks like with no brakes on it

I'm using a set of antiwrap spring perches. They measure about 7" so I'm hoping this will bring the axle wrap down to a minium. Once I get it all in place I'll let you know how it works out

got some new pictures here. Got the rear in place and the disc brake conversion parts all together. Just waiting on a couple other things and I can get this welded in and on the ground.

Because it wasn't short enough. I wanted a better departure angle. I wasn't going to do it at first but after seeing it all done It's growing on me. It really doesn't look that bad in person. I'll try and get some better shots of it once I get the rear in it and the 38's on it

either going with a 60 or doing a 9" with 60 outters. This thing is still has the 2wd front tube so I was never planing on going with a 30 any way so it all works out

Today I got a good deal on a 14 bolf ff out of a cab and chassi chevy. A buddy of mine had it from an old project he never finished. The C&C rears are 62" wms to wms which is what I was looking for since I don't want to go full width. This will work out to be just about 1" over stock on each side. It's got a detroit and 5.13's. picked it up for $500.00. Just have to get the rear disc kit and move the perches a little and some shaving of the housing and I'll be set. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I get it installed

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the round lights either but you need side markers to pass DMV inspection in NJ( That was when I was worried about passing) Now they are there I am just leaving them in. Fuel tank is fine right where it is. Fuell cell is the last of my concerns right now but maybe some time in the future. Thanks for the offer on the bed lining but I don't need it. It's lined already

It's a nice truck. Are those 2" over stock alcans?

When I did the 99 cherokee engine swap I wanted to keep the Cherokee fuel tank and the stock fuel pump. The cherokee filler neck location isn't the same as the comanche is so I decided to just mount it in the bed and I am building an enclosure over the tank which will house 2 air tanks as well and a storage compartment for tow straps and some tools. The stock filler door on the bed will have air fitting located behind it so I can run so air tools or just air back up after wheelin

Here's a couple more pictures. I got the body work done on the bed,coated it with duraback, got the tail lights mounted and did a little trimming. I also did a spring over in the rear. I'm either going to be doing a 60 or a 9" in the rear in the real near future but just wanted to get it up in the air a little. I also have a set of RE7.5 Front springs in route to my house and Johnny joints and some bushing barels so I can start on the long arms.

What are you running for rear springs?

do you know how many inches over stock these are?

Can you get me a measurment from the axle centerling to the top of the bed rail. I would also like to see how much you cut out of your wheel well if it's not to much trouble. Thanks and Merry Christmas

Any one on here running rustys 4" rear springs and a spring over? If so how much lift did you get total. Do rustys springs give you a true 4" or is it a bit more? How do the springs flex?

IT wasn't to bad. Just alot of measuring and some welding and it droped right into place once everything was set up right.

Been lookingfor some pictures of MJ's on 36's,37's and 38's. Curious how much lift your running with this tire size? Prefer to see with stock width rears but full width would be fine also. Post up what ya got just for reference. I'm going to start gathering suspension parts and want to keep COG as low as possible. Thanks

That's a short box. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to title it as right now. I have both vin plates so I may keep it a comanche and just chenge the vin plate in the cherokee dash

I have the bed in the rear all primed now and you can't even tell it was cut. The XJ I got was a base model and that picture was taken before I changed the cluster. I have a 97 cluster in it with the gauges and it was a direct plug in and everything works great

That was a brand new fender on that side. I got the doner 99XJ and a tree had fell on it and caught the front fender also so I just replaced it. I took everything from the 99 so the spedo hooked up as if it was a 99.
