I liked these trucks as a kid/young teen. When i moved to the north of canada for work i met a fellow east coaster with a 2.5 sportuck. We became best friends and worked together. I did the maintenance on his truck and never ever asked anything for it cause he was my buddy. One day he calls me and tells me he found a 4.0 4x4 that he was getting, i offered to buy his. A few hours later he came by my placeand we went for a coffee in the new one and he gave me the old 89 2.5. I loved them ever since

Hey guys, been 5 years since i left my comanche out west. Looking too find a new one in the east. Willing to travel anywhere from ont east. Will consider anything thats machincaly sound, due to having to drive it back to newfoundland. Only thing i want is a short box, 4x4 would be a bonus but not needed

I don't have any pic yet, but what ones are you looking at? i Payed 278 tax in canadian for mine. They were the 170's...i know the 240's are bigger and a little better

Courtesy is always first when it come to driving or offroading, I hate it myself when someone don't turn off their light till there right up on you...drives me nuts. The stock wiring on both my xj and mj were 12gauge. I will let you all know how it works out after a night trip on the trails

I am in canada. but i got it figgured out, they are a Driving light stock, they ar the bosch style 4x6 lamps. I can run them with just my running lights or with my hi-beams. i just had to change the 30amp relay to a 40 amp relay and change the fuse from a 15 to a 25...and i'm good to go I'll post a pic of them on both my trucks when i get them cleaned up
-
Hey guys i just picked up 2 sets of light force off road lights for my mj and xj. i'm just wonder if i need to change my factory wiring from my stock driving lights? Is the stock wiring relayed and big enough to handle the off road lights?

i'm here in yellowknife with only 18000 people, and maybe 10 mj's...so i wave to everyone

these brackets and seats are full power, lumbar support, sliders, up-down movement...and the ones i have are even heated...the main reason i want these seats installed. Real nice option at -40 C.
-
not overly worried about the seats sitting high, I'm only 5'7". You guys are sugesting just get rid of the power all together and just use the bench brackets and mount them up that way??
-
Hey Guys, I was just given a set of power seats out of a 88 Xj wagoneer. Problem is...i got a bench in my Mj and i really want these in there. So i can't switch brackets, but can i just drill new holes?? anyone know what my best option is?

Fuel Pump and tank wrong???
GummiBeer replied to GummiBeer's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
its on a 88 4.0l with a 6' box...its a 16 gal tank. To me it seems the the pan on the bottom of the tank is on the wrong side or something???...but i'll check the float idea, but i don't think thats it -
Hey guys. i just ordered a new fuel pump assembly and tank from NAPA. the problem is the pump won't seat in the tank. Everything i checked, tells me that its the right tank and pump assembly. the pump catches on the pan inside the tank....almost seems like the pump is reverse. but its the one listed for the truck Any ideas???
