  1. Summit was on point! Ordered the truss and stuff last night and it showed up today! Still waiting on the upper control arm tabs which were drop shipped but I’m alright with that. Should order gears within the next week or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks but they are TJ Rubi Wheels. I think the spacers I are 2” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Interior paint came in.. Got started on getting the Comanche specific panels painted to match the Agate colored 98’ dash and door panels. Sold a few things recently and gonna order either the truss or gears tomorrow not sure what yet. I’m planning on running the same steering track bar set up I had on my Cherokee before I did the axle swap. Run JCR’s 1 ton over knuckle steering with a TNT customs over axle track bar. I want to get the truss done and it off for gears before I order all of that cause I’m not sure how long gearing it will take. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thank you sir Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Got the Jeep out of the garage for a little while this weekend.. Got the bed back on and the driver side rear fender trimmed up. I ordered some interior paint that’ll be here tomorrow. Planning on ordering gears for the 30 this week.. it’s coming together.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Alright so finally got the 44 back today and put in. It’s gonna come back out for paint and such later but for now I want to get it all together enough to roll it out of the garage to put the bed back on. It’s been sitting in my back yard since probably before Christmas and I’m very surprised HOA hasn’t complained. but I’m tired of looking at it sit there so I’m gonna put it back on this weekend.. Once that is on and the Jeep is back in the garage I’ll set the front up on stands and get it ready for the Dana 30. I have changed my mind with the Ironman4x4 crossmember and decided not to use it on the Comanche. Reason is it started to creep over into the more custom side of things which defeated the whole purpose of this build plus I want this thing useable sooner so I just went with a Rough Country long arm kit. I ran it for a while on my Cherokee and didn’t seem to have an issue out of it till I got into some harder wheeling which this Jeep will not be a part of. Prospects for the Ironman crossmember isn’t our yet through since I’ll be putting it on my Cherokee and rebuilding the link set up on it. Hopefully will be ordering the rest for the 30 in the next few weeks and getting this thing on the road! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Got the leaf pads burned in on the 44 this weekend and dropped at my buddy’s place to get geared as well as the 30 tore down and ready for a truss.. they had some redneck fabbed track bar bracket and the passenger side upper was bent so I cut those off.. Also got the carpet in and cut and a few other things tied up. Gonna try and order the truss and such in the next few weeks and try to get the 30 put together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. More done this weekend.. Picked up a cable shifter a little while back and got it installed. Got the crossmember bolted up as well.. fit pretty well did have to trim up some on the driver side for the tcase and gonna have to do some magic with the exhaust but I’ll deal with that when the time comes. I picked up a 30 Saturday so gonna start tearing into that soon. Gonna try and get the rear end buttoned up in the next week or so then will move on to the front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah by used I mean installed lol not actually "used" lol I doubt I'll link the rear of this one for what I'm gonna use it for leaf springs will do just fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Got some done to the truck today.. With having a hard time putting money away for paint right now I've decided to start using up some of the parts I've had laying around.. get the garage cleaned up and truck closer to being done then hopefully have it painted in the spring.. I started today by mocking up the Dana 44. Got all the brackets cut up and the diff disassembled to a bare housing and bolted up under the leaf springs. I've got it where I want it just need to tack the pads in figured out how I'm gonna mount the shocks and burn it all in.. Then once the 44 is completely done gears, brakes and all I will move to the front.. I have most of what I need for the 30 minus a few things oh and a Dana 30 lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Just now saw this reply sorry lol but yeah hopefully it'll fit all right I need to cut it up to get it in the welds on it aren't great anyway. Not sure if I'm gonna use it yet or not just got it cause it was cheap.. probably gonna be one of the last things I do.. the cage in my Cherokee came out of a pre 97 and fits great so I'm hoping the same for this one. I'll be sure to post pics and such when the time comes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. More parts!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Honestly I love it.. you can tell it was hand made but looks very stout and can't wait to get it on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So some goodies showed up today.. Gonna get it installed soon so that I can build some links when I get a Dana 30 to swap in. Gonna try and run a full 4 link at all possible but we'll see how that goes.. also need to order a cable tcase shifter.. for some reason the linkages don't match up.. might be something I am missing with the 4wd swap but I feel like a cable shifter would be an easier fix.. 15. Okay so it's been a long while since anything has been done to the jeep.. just have been real busy with work, school and the XJ. Finally got to tying up some loose ends on it today.. put some new motor mounts in, got the down pipe installed and drove it out of the garage.. so it does drive on its own. Had to replace the replace the power steering line. Swap is pretty much done. I have been wanting to get it to paint but coming up with the money for that has been harder than I thought. Hopefully I'll get her there soon but we'll see. Have everything I need for the rear end and most of what I need for the front except the actual axle. Might start getting the rear axle built next and ready to go end next till I get it painted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Got a decent amount done with the jeep today.. got the new steering column in and the rest of the dash together. Gave it a good pressure washing. Got the tank wired up and the fuel line worked out. Drilled some holes to mount the charcoal canister and also ran its hoses. Trimmed both front fenders and did the cut and fold on the inner pinch seem. Need to pick up some fuel line to run from the factory hard line to the new tank and a few other things and it should be driveable. Which means it'll be time to haul her off to the body shop.. then I'll get the bed trimmed up and worked out and take it over there.. it's getting close and I'm getting excited!! 17. Getting the jeep ready for the body shop to have their time with with.. got both doors lined up nicely and got the fenders and header loosely mounted to the jeep (how my body lady wanted it). Pulled the bed off today. Need to get the fenders trimmed up and adjust the hood some and after that haul her off.. still stuck on color. Want it to be a factory jeep color just can't come up with one I just love! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Got back to the jeep a little today.. passenger side striker is on and the door opening and shutting good.. started to work on the driver door but stopped for the night. Picked up a newer set of Moab's last week with a set of 35s on them, But selling those. I had a buddy of mine pick up a set of 35" creepy crawlers that I picked up on the wheeling trip last weekend. Also picked up a camper top on the way back. Got it for $100 and figured why not. Gonna be putting a lot of work into this thing in the next few weeks to try and have it driveable soon.. 19. Pretty much I laid the harness out in the truck and cut it open.. made sure i was attached on both side so at the fuse box and driver door then knowing what connectors had to go I followed them all the way back to the source and cut them at the connector.. after all that was not needed was gone then a got it all in place with the extra right where the hole is for the fuel pump and brake lights and cut it and re crimped it right there to take all the extra wire out. I'll get some better pictures for you when I can.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah it sucks. My Xj build on JeepForum was huge and pretty useless. Along with my old MJ build on here.. it's a catch 20/20 with my new MJ. I haven't had the thread going on here very long so not much is lost but now I can't go back and look on my old thread to make sure I'm doing it right lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Fired up the jeep for the first time since the swap over the weekend. Still need to work out the tank. Got the doors on aswell. I got the passenger side pretty much lined up. The driver side is gonna need some work. Also need to get the strikers installed. Picked up some new wheels last week too and the new rear end came in today. Gonna hold off for the next week or two. Got a wheeling trip planned and my XJ needs a little work before then. But as soon as I'm back I'll jump right back on this thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. So now that Photobucket has decided to be a bunch of pricks I have to find away to get the photos back up.. anyways I got a ton done on the manche this weekend. Broke open the harness to make it a little smaller, taking out what isn't needed for the truck. Dash is in for good, just need to put the panels back on. Seat brackets are in and ready for seats when I find the ones I want. Buttoned up most of the engine bay aswell. Should be ready for a fire up soon. Ordered something a little special for it that should be here this week. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Picked up a second donor last week. I still needed a few things that the 2 door didn't provide. Plus I pretty much stole this jeep.. picked it up for $200. Yes that's right 200 dollars lol. Got some done with the actual truck this passed weekend but ran into a snag. Apparently with the 4wd conversation and the ax15 swap. Not sure which one it is if not both the crossmember doesn't want to work. It's moved back the width of the crossmember so now the front bolt is in the back hole.. not sure what is going on here. If anyone could shed some light that would be great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Got the fire wall mat, HVAC unit and pedals installed sunday. She's getting there.
  25. Got a good bit more done this weekend. Got the cherokee tore down and the firewall cut out and moved over as well as the steering column bracket and the the dash top rail is mounted in. I still need to drill the holes for the lower mounts and get some bolts in there. The previous owner of the cherokee did a AC delete which leads me to believe something was wrong and they didn't want to fix it so with that said I will have the evaporator checked and or a new reinstalled while I have the heater box out. Still need to pull a few things off of the cherokee before I can haul it off to scrap. Need to get over to the junkyard one day soon to pick up a new transmission crossmember and a dakota gas tank. Plan as of right now is to get most of the swap done B pillar up. so engine bay and interior. Then pull the bed and take it to paint first. while its off I'll work out the gas tank and some other things. then when it is done and the Jeep can drive on its own load up and take it to get painted. Still trying to have this swap done by the end of the summer. Its looking good but anything can happen. Also picked up some shocks for the manche today. Got them for a pretty good deal from a buddy of mine. Not sure if they'll be in the front or rear but will figure that out when I do spring over.
