  1. 87 Warrior, This is for a custom made headliner panel already covered and ready to install with extra material for your sun visors. Do you need light grey, medium grey, or dark grey? Steve
  2. That would be cordovan and that color is not a problem. I custom make headliner panels for the FSJ Grand Wagoneers and this is a common color those as well. Steve
  3. This does include the backer board and I have both colors available. PM me your email address and I will send you photo samples
  4. I am Steve Bennett with SMSheadliners and wanted to see if there would be any interests in a group buy for the custom made headliner panels I make for the jeep Comanche. I normally sell these for $135 which includes shipping. This offer would be good through the end of February. Groups of at least 5 would receive a 26% discount...total cost of $100 which includes shipping via USPS parcel post unless you live in a postal zone to where priority mail would be the same cost. If you are interested in this offer, reply to this posting with the color you need. After there are 5 member responses, I will pm you requesting an email address to send a PayPal invoice to. If you have questions or concerns, pm me and I will respond as soon as possible. If you have issues with PMs, email me direct at smsheadliners@windstream.net Let me also add that along with the custom made headliner you will also receive extra material for your sun visors so you can have them recovered locally. I do offer the recovering service if you want to ship me your sun visors, I can send them back with your headliner. I do charge $40 for the pair to recover sun visors. Steve NOTE #1: I do offer a 100% money back guarantee for customer satisfaction. I guarantee the headliner panel will fit without any modifications to the headliner panel itself. (You will need to trim the opening for the sun visor end clips. There were two different styles used from the earlier models versus the later models. I precut both locations into the panel for you to use which ever you need. You will just need to trim the headliner material in the opening by cutting an "X") If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with the headliner panel, I will send you a return shipping label and will refund 100% of your purchase price after I receive the headliner back. NOTE #2: Turnaround time on the Panels would be shipping as early as the First Monday after purchase has been made but no later than the Second Monday. NOTE #3: You will receive step by step instructions on removal of your old headliner and the install of the new one. If you do not have a headliner the instructions should still be helpful in the installation process. Please go to SMSheadliners.com to see my Ebay Feedback score. I will be posting other offers on the Vendors website soon for discounts on Headliner kits, Custom Made Door panels, and other Custom Made Headliner Panels for other vehicles you may own.
  5. I just sent you an email and I am ready to get started on your headliner panel(s) Steve SMSheadliners
  6. Problem actually starts with the foam backing on the headliner material deteriorating. Then over time the headliner panel fails due to delamination of the fibers. I recommend any high heat rated spray adhesive and one example would be 3m90 which can be purchased from Lowe's, Home Depot, or your local autoparts store. I am glad for those that used 3m77 to have lasted so long. I have seen several failures from using 3m77...it does cost less than 3m90, but if yours fail after 3 or 4 days then your going to turn around and probably purchase more adhesive.
  7. What color or shade are you looking for? I probably can help. Steve ((a1500ram)(SMSheadliners))
  8. Did you see this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 92367&rd=1
  9. I don't mean to be a little off topic, but does this have coil packs versus a distributor? I had the iron duke in a 88 Grand am with coil packs. I made a mistake and ran 93 Octane in it. The computer compensated for the higher octane fuel and would advance/decrease the timing throwing the performance way off. It would run rich and then run lean. It took about 3 tanks of 87 Octane to get it back normal. Hope this is helpful.
  10. The pictures will be helpful. Unfortunately, I have been replacing headliners for over 22 years and have seen my share of sunroofs. Along with that it is very hard for me to know one from the other without actually looking at it. I will wait on your pictures and reply. I will be heading south for 3 days but will have access to my email and internet but only during the early to mid afternoon thru Thursday. I will reply as soon as I can.
  11. Hello everyone! I am the one that makes the headliner panels for the Comanche's. As far as cutting them out to fit a sunroof, I do not do that. How is the interior part of the sunroof trimmed out? Do you have pictures? If you can remove your sunroof glass, you might be able to adapt my panel to fit your sunroof. After removing the sunroof glass and you have initially installed the new headliner panel, you could mark the outline of your opening on the back of the panel. Once you have done this you would remove the panel and cut the opening on the panel. When I make your panel, I would not adhere the material to the center of the panel. The material would be adhered to the perimeter of the panel itself. Depending on how your sunroof interior is trimmed out, i.e.; Metal trim, Rubber seal, "U" Grip seal, etc.... you would be able to determine how much of the material you would need to trim to allow for the opening.
