Hello my name is Tony I have a 86 MJ 2 wheel drive. I want to make it 4x4. I want to do leaf springs in front. I think dana 44 front would be all i need out back a amc20 or a 44 or a chevrolet 12 bolt. Now i have these two parts truck I have a 79 4x4 Chevy Suburban 350 Runs great turbo 400/203. I also got a 91 Chevy Suburban 4x4 bad 350 good 700r4/242. I would like to take my MJ and put the 79 350 and 700r4/242 Not sure which tranny be the best to use the 400/203 or the 700r4/242. here's my question what axles be the best. It will see highway driveing and light wheeling no hard-core 'wheeling will be done. i will do some wheeling lets call it light hard core at the most. would the axles from the 79 be ok. thanks Tony

i see the arm after i took it off it was froze so i just bypass it i will just block off the little vacom hose

which side do i eliminate both side has something there like 5 hoses my is a 86 2.5 auto

when i bought this mj 86 2.5 auto 2wd it would bog down bad at 70 and drink gas bad i replace the fuel filter. gas mileage got 85 % better. I notice today it still loosing fuel or fire one going down the rd at 70 mph but it only does it for just a few 3-5 seconds at a time then it picks back up every time what do ya think it is i have put on new plugs, cap, wires, rotor button, coil thanks

I bought my mj and the heat don't work it blow cold air out of the ducts please help. i went and bought a new thermostat. when i took the old one out it was open but i just drove the truck all day. it closed when i took it out. i went ahead and put my new one in. what could it be please help i put the old one on the stove it open up and close when i ran cold water on it so it was good please help

put what ever u got available i got a 91 burb i am thinking about swaping all the drive train sbc 400 700r4 205 t case and both rearend

mild to moderate wheeling ill never do lockers and all that stuff i just want to do some mild to moderate wheeling i Uwharrie brown mtn snow rds

let me throw this out there two i got a 91 burb 350 motor 704 brand new tranny with posa out back would u just take that drive train and fab it under the mj i got the know how and go ahead and leaf spring the front or trade the burb for that xj the burb has a bad body and bad motor but i got a sbc400
