I am just finishing up putting an 8.8 in my 95 XJ. rear Detroit and 4.88's. I am taking it easy (for now) with the MJ. I have my 3.5 lift fr the MJ in the garage. 31 BFG's and Cragar soft eights. ...BOB

thanks Pete, I have a friend that works at a muffler shop. I was going to put the lift on myself. But, It sounds like I'll really need the correct leaf. Plus, the shocks and control arms look really, really old. removing those will not be easy. I also am having 4.88 gears dropped in my XJ this week. ...BOB

:oops: okay, my MJ rear.I purchased an RE6020. it is an XJ 3.5 lift. http://www.rubiconexpress.com/dynamic/m ... lderid=185 the only lift specifically for MJ was 5.5" would adding a leaf, to the "leaf under" axle gain any height? custom rear shackles only add about an inch or so. Help!! I want to put the lift on next week sometime. ...BOB

I just picked it up. Always liked em. I also have a 95 XJ. Lifted, locked, Warn winch etc. I mostly wheeel at the Badlands. Been to Superlift OR Park and some other places. Love to wheel. I am planning on buying and installing a 3.5 RE lift. also, put on a set of BF Goodrich Long trail's (very good road tire. also a very decent O/R tire.) ...BOB
