Thanks for your help. Got the wing window and track out, replaced the channel seal, and re-installed. You’re right! Lots of maneuvers to get the parts out and in.

I have new window channel seals, but could use some tips on installing procedures.

Got the parts in from JEGS. Has anybody replaced the window front channels? I could use some tips on best procedure

I’m wanting to replace the channel and other seals around the windows in my ‘87 Comanche. Can anybody recommend a good source?

This Comanche is new to me. I’m trying to test things before “firing the parts cannon” as Cruizer would say. I’m pretty sure the problem is fuel-related. I know I need a new sending unit/fuel pump assembly because my gauge reads 1/4 tank all the time and the sock filter on mine looks like a Hershey bar melted inside it. The fuel in the tank is clean. Also, the pressure at the fuel rail is 31psi at idle. I’m assuming I have to unhook the wires on the CPS to test it? Looking for a thread on how to test the coil… Thanks for your help

I bought a sending unit/fuel pump assembly through Amazon and it would not fit through the hole in my 1987 MJ tank. A-Premium is the brand. Amazon let me return it. Planning to call MTS first thing Tuesday morning to verify their JPSU-6P4.0 will fit.

My 1987 MJ with 4.0 starts fine when cold, but won’t start after I’ve driven it. If I leave it to cool down, it starts right up. Suggestions?

I have an ‘87 MJ with 4.0 and California emissions system. Where can I find photos of components like EGR system?
