  1. That’s an awesome set up, I’m jealous!
  2. That’s good looking rig!
  3. Before paint I had decided to utilize some dead space under the bed and make a little spare tire carrier, it’s made from two 36” trailor fenders with dimples for rigidity and cool points. It gets the 35” tire to sit 9.5” lower. I also modified the piece of bed that I cut out it be able to drop back in and make the bed normal if I didn’t want to carry the tire for whatever reason. The extra weight behind the rear axle made a noticeable difference off-road and in the snow.
  4. I guess I need to post more to use the classifieds so I figured I’d add some more photos. Ended up repainting the rig and redoing the chief graphics.
  5. I appreciate the help! I did find a website with the amc paint codes!
  6. Pardon my ignorance but I’m searching around and briarwood metallic is only pulling up the wood paneled xj’s. I’m not finding anything that is the same dark brown metallic as mine
  7. Thank you Fiatslug87 and eagles out526 for the info!
  8. Hello, My name is Steven. This is my 87 Chief. It is still Renix, 4.0, 93 Aw4 T-case and high pinion Dana 30 (open), Spring over 8.8 with a grizzly locker. Rubicon express 7.5 long arm front lift. Half the dirtbound catalog. Frame stiffeners. I received this truck as a rolling shell 4 years ago. Hoping to repaint it next year and I would love to know the paint code as well as where this thing was sold originally. It has changed quite a bit. currently in Carson City Nevada.
