  1. One of The previous owners did this. I’m not sure how long it’s been like this. I think I’m just going to eventually just replace the springs with some oem ones. If needed I can still gain almost an inch off the shackle if I move it down to the bottom hole.
  2. Here are the rear leaf packs.
  3. I’ll grab a pic of them in the morning.
  4. Interesting. Mine appears to be 4+1. The truck has some newer coils in the front with the Chrysler logo on them. I guess I should search the part number
  5. So someone along my Comanches life appears to have done a shackle lift on the rear of my MJ. I’m trying to figure out if the leaves are stock and it’s just the shackle that’s giving it the lift. The keepers that wrap around the leaves are missing the bolt that goes across the top. I guess my main question is how many leaves are in the standard pack? It is an 88 2wd base model with the 2.5 and 4 speed. Would it make more sense to rebuild the possibly stock packs or should I just replace them?
  6. Sorry it has taken so long to get back. Your sensor has the 90* adapter coming out of the block. Mine just comes straight out. Ok so armed with that knowledge, I’ll have to hit up the auto parts stores and see what I can rustle up.
  7. There isn’t an elbow. The motor mount is physically in the way. It’s odd because I’m sure there are MJs with the full gauge cluster and 4 cylinders. Is there supposed to be an adapter? I thought about going to Lowe’s to see if there may be a brass 45 degree elbow or something.
  8. Got the parts in and the oil pressure sensor is about 1 inch larger than the old one. The engine mount prevents the sensor from going in. How’d you work around that?
  9. OK, so I know this horse has been beaten to death, but I’m trying to find a specific answers. My 88 Comanche with a 2.5l has had the gauge cluster swapped by one of the numerous previous owners. I don’t believe that they changed the oil pressure switch and the coolant temperature switch. I’m trying to find specific part numbers for those items. then all I have to do is just swap them out and the existing plug will fit in and work?
  10. thank you so much for looking that up.
  11. Here is my MJ. Bought her 3 weeks ago. Still needs some work but she’s an awesome little truck.
  12. WOW! This MJ is incredible! Keep it up!
