  1. Thanks AZJeff! I'm assuming you have a bench? I've got buckets, so I'm leaning towards these... https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/i-30497868-1984-1996-jeep-cherokee-2-door-front-seat-belt-kit-bolt-down-end-fittings.html?ref=category:1389249 I've been told by Kody Kilmer (the Facebook/Ebay used parts go-to guy) that our belts are bolt down end fittings, but the descriptions on seatbeltplus.com say nothing about being Loop Ends or Bolt Down Ends like the ones on seatbeltplanet.com. For only $75 more, I'd rather be certain.
  2. Thanks Pete. And thanks to all of you Comanche gurus that are helping me get my 4x4Rat sorted out!
  3. I'm in the market for new seatbelts. For those that got the 2 door Cherokee kit from seatbeltplanet.com, did you get Bolt Down Ends (kit # DJP13), or Loop Ends (kit# DJP19)? I want to make sure I order the correct kit for my Comanche. Also, please share if anyone has a part number for the correct replacement from seatbeltsplus.com. They are quite a bit cheaper, so I may consider them an option. Thanks!
  4. I'm looking into replacing the left side dash warning lights panel, and replace it with a custom panel and 12mm warning lights off of Amazon. Right now, I think the only warning lights that work are the Parking Brake and Seatbelt. The seatbelt warning lamp doesn't turn on and off based on if seatbelts are secured. Do we even need this lamp? If so, how do you make it work properly? I'm thinking of having six 12mm lamps in there instead. Parking brake, low fuel (tied into that little lamp by the gas gauge, oil pressure, coolant temp warning, 4HI, and 4LO. I could go with eight lamps if needed, but eliminating the seatbelt one would be nice. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
  5. So, in your humble opinion I should go with Smoke Grey instead? That was my 2nd choice... Any other opinions from the guys & gals would be greatly appreciated before Steve gets to work. Thanks!
  6. I have a 1989 with the grey interior, but I'm not sure of the shade. That (and the fact that it is not even close to stock) made me opt for a black headliner. I'm hoping it will add to the custom look.
  7. I need one. Ready to buy, and will go with black. Thanks!
  8. I've been trying to get my 1989 Comanche sorted since buyng it months ago, but there have been electrical issues to to frayed/burnt wires. I'm new to the forum, so I can't reply to 88mjsally's post, nor can I send a message. However, I'd like to know if getting that used 89 4.0 auto 4wd harness is a good idea, or is there a better alternative? I know a lot of people rebuild old cars and trucks, and I can't believe they would put 30+ old wiring into a new build. Any help would be appreciated.
