If I push the pedal down over half way it hesitates. Spits sputters. But if I baby it and barely touch the gas it's fine. Problem is I live where there is lots over hills and mountains. So that grandpa driving just don't cut it. Any thoughts.

I bought this truck at the start of this year. It had set for quite some time. I popped the hood and started scratching my head. I seen some tips by some of yall comanche gods and got to work. It has 205k on the engine. I converted to open system. New Dual Eletric fans. New Radiator. New Temp sensor. New Heater core. New Map sensor. New Fuel pump. New Fuel filter. New Plugs, Wires, and Distributor. New Starter. Changed the oil. Check all fluids. New Thor intake. New vacuum lines. This this still runs rough. It falls on its face even in first gear. Idles rough. There is also a tick maybe lifter? I kinda think it's a burnt valve or maybe carbon build up. I'm not a mechanic at all but If there is a shade tree I'm underneath it in the dirt. I would like to get some quick advise on how to proceed. Thanks kindly.

So the white one I got had been sitting for a while. I've seen a few tips. I started working towards some mentioned from Pete Cruiser and a few other guys. (Silently watching 👀) I think It has a burnt valve? Maybe carbon build up? I have a 4.0l HO with transmission, transfer case, wiring harness, and computer with 50k on it. Is that a hard swap?

Yes sir that's him. He did amazing work. The renix has been a nightmare for me. I'm no mechanic by no means but, renix I had no idea. I could be so foul mouthed.
