  1. I appreciate all the tips. Sorry for all the mistakes on the first topic message. I was at work and didn’t want to proof read. Just to make sure I would need a 5 x4.5 “ set so I wouldn’t have get an adapter or spacer. I should have asked before buying tires.
  2. Sorry I was told they were from an 08 jk. I bought these wheels. But like I said the middle hole doesn’t fit in the back. The reason I’m changing the wheels is because all four rims are different. I wanted a same rims for all four.
  3. Dang sorry guys. I don’t know the correct terms. So I’ll explain it with some pictures. So the hole that’s in the middle of the rim, like huge hole. See where I’m pointing out in the picture. That is not fitting. Like the diameter is smaller then the drum brake hub or protrusion and doesn’t allow for the rim to seat well. My question is how can I fix that. I am about to just take an angle grinder and carve that middle hole( see picture of what I’m pointing at) and call it a day. Is there an easy fix or do I just have to do that to all my rims. And I apologize once again, I re-read the post and it sounded stupid. Hopefully this explains it better.
  4. Hey guys I recently bought some new tires off a Jeep Yj 08. The front tires fit perfectly but the back tires don’t fit. The hub of the drum brake is to big to actually seat the tire. I’m thinking of just grinding the tire so that it fits on the hub but just wondering is there a better way or am I just stuck having to grind all my tires and spare just to fit ?? I have a 89 basic model MJ long bed
  5. Wow... Jeepers are really a community. I appreciate all the tips and definitely will start getting work on getting to know the truck. But like it’s very new to me so if I ask a dumb question just don’t roast me to much. Lol. But I think I’m ready for this lifestyle. Ja feel ps and yeah I’m looking thru my truck find all the extra stuff like, axles/gear ratio, trans, engine
  6. Hey guys I just bought my first Mj 89 2wd long bed and honestly don’t know what to do or where to get parts. The way I’m thinking is first change the bench seat to bucket seats, then get a lift don’t know if 3 in or 4.5 in works best. And then lastly trying to convert it into a 4x4. I’ll probably do more but those are the main ideas I have now. Any tips or tricks to help me get the process going I would greatly appreciate it. It’s going to be a daily so not looking for anything extreme, just a weekend out on the trails. Thanks
