Pretty sure. Put in a second clutch master after the new clutch install. Everything is going into gear fine except reverse. It’s been a pain in the rear

Thank you for the replies. My ba10 seems like the synchros are going bad. Put in a new clutch had the toughest time getting it to work properly. Finally a mechanic down the street got it going. It’s running great but putting in reverse is slightly grinding unfortunately

Wondering if someone can help me. I have an 88 4wd, 4.0, 5 speed short bed Comanche. Pretty sure it has the Renault tranny in it. Attached is a picture of an AX-15 from a 84 Cherokee. Will this fit my Comanche? Any help would be great thank you

I will try doing that. Hopefully it will work. I will keep you posted

I will try what you said cruiser 54 and yes Jdog I purchased a Luk clutch kit and fly wheel from rock auto. Also put in a clutch master cylinder. Did not replace the lines though. Very strange! Like it wants to work. If I take it around the block it did ok. Then when I stop the truck the clutch has no pressure and it won’t go into gear. Grinds when I put it in reverse.

The shop installed it

Hoping to get some help. Ok I put in a new clutch and clutch master cylinder on my 1988 Comanche 4x4 5spd. 4.0. When I picked it up from my mechanic I drove it off and the clutch had no pressure and I couldn’t get it into gear unless I pumped the clutch pedal to at least get back to the shop. Left it there all weekend was called that it was running fine. I drove it home was doing great, then all of the sudden went to take for a spin and same thing. No clutch pressure and couldn’t get into gear. What a Freakn bummer. Any help? I could use it thank you David

I think I read about this just can’t remember where or when. Any particular year of Cherokee?
-
That’s good to know I did not know that. I do see the trim on the outside and as far as the windshield goes. Is there any specific windshield I need to look for? or will a glass shop be able to decide that for me
-
I have a question about the windshield on my 88 Comanche. It is leaking and I am wondering about the seal or gasket. Where can I get that gasket? And obviously a glass shop should be able to install it shouldn’t they. Hope this isn’t to dumb of a question thanks for any help David

Ok got it. But if it’s to full will it cause it to run hotter than normal? Reason being I took it for a ride and I noticed it
-
Ok thank you I had someone do some hose replacements for me plus a new expansion bottle I notice it was pretty full. Plus it ran hotter than what I’m used to seeing.
-
Just put in a new expansion coolant tank on my Comanche. If it is to full will it run hotter than it should?

Thank you -
Can you guys please tell me what this part is exactly called? Is it a crank case breather assembly? Reason being is I need one plus the hose
-
Ok thank you I will look for one
-
That doesn’t sound good. I have never seen them either. Any idea how to remove those?
-
If I replace the upper radiator hose and all the other hoses around where the coolant bottle is near the fire wall. Do I need to do anything special? Or do I just remove and replace?

Ok great and to replace them can I use your typical clamp that you turn with a screwdriver? Also all those hose numbers that are listed up above are those part numbers? Like from Napa ?
-
Hope some one sees this because I need the same hoses as well. But! The hose have those strange clamps they are not your typical clamp that you turn with a flat head screw driver. If anyone knows what I’m talking about. How do you take them off??
