Decided to try to drill and tap new threads and grinding down the stud heated the glue/plastic enough to pop out the dowel inside the handle. Gonna attempt to jb weld them back in with threaded holes and use bolts instead of nuts.

Took the door handles off but the studs holding them in were rusted and broke off. Any way I could salvage them?

Decided to tackle the indexing and after setting #1 to tdc and cutting the cap I installed the cap to see where it lines up and it seems pretty accurate to me. Wondering if it would be worth continuing or not.

Looks like a torx in the center. Can't say what size since my drain and fill are both hex plugs

As for the leaf springs, do you just swap it under with the same hardware?

More pictures. Looks like the bracket for the brakes lines over the rear axle was removed to account for the height. Is there somewhere that would indicate wether I'll need brake lines?

I've got a 1990 Comanche that has a 5.5in Rubicon express suspension lift and I'd like to return the the truck back to stock height. Its pretty clear by the silver paint which parts in the front end were part of the lift kit and would likely need to be replaced (maybe certain parts could remain?). The rear I'm not so sure, are new leaf springs in order? Is it as simple as just replacing parts back to original or is there anything I need to be concerned about? https://imgur.com/a/G0a6VEj
