The pink wire in the photo is from the Factory Cargo light harness that is located behind the driver side b piller. I ran it between the headliner and the roof.

@acfortier There is a void behind were I drilled that is basically a tube. I had to drill through the opposite side of the tube to get the wire into the cab. I will upload a photo from inside the cab coming up. Chris

Hello Everyone. I just finished this install. I ended up using Harbor Freight’s Threaded Insert Riveter Kit with 1-4-20 Stainless Cap Head Fasteners. I had to drill out the mounting holes in the light to accept the 1/4-20 fasteners. I fashioned a gasket out of two pieces of red colored rubber sheets that are located in Lowes Plumbing department.

Thanks. No I can wait. Let me know.

Catalytic Converter on 1988 4.0
C1111toro replied to C1111toro's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I ordered a Walker 15634 Catalytic converter from Amazon and was wondering if anyone had a Stock setup photo to compare. -
Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone has a photo of a bone stock exhaust setup on an 88 4.0. I bought my truck with no resonator or catalytic converter installed. I recently pick up a Thrush muffler to let it breathe a little easier and now I would like to cut down on the cabin noise. My question is did the 88 have a Catalytic Converter or a resonator from the factory? I'm trying to get my truck to the factory setup. Thanks, Chris

I finished the install of the mud flaps today. I used strokercomanches tutorial but utilized the factory XJ rear brackets in my install.

I did Dremel the head off and the bolt cam right out. Dremel was small enough to access to the head of the stud.
-
Thats what I thinking. Using and Dremel with a cutoff wheel and then punching out the stub. I just didn't know if there are any threads in the bracket or is it a friction fit stud.

Has anyone ever pressed one out or does it have to be drilled?
