Also I custom built in a tool box. The plywood top I used is semi trailer interior plywood. It has a metal surface. I installed a latch system from a RV door lock with a deadbolt.
-
Oh I have also installed bucket seats with center console, 97 side rearview mirrors, Chevy blazer rearview mirror Inside with map lights, and side vent windows.
-
Then I have painted the wheels blue, added a tube rear bumper with a 2in receiver. I have seen the new jeep gladiator. Frankly my mj looks better.

I was using it as an extra money maker. I was refurbished headlights. I got tired of the silver paint and did the rattle can approach. Went from silver to two tone. White top, blue bottom. Recently, I have removed the shell.

When I purchased my 1986 Jeep Comanche custom, 12 years ago, I found out that I'm the 3rd owner. It was basically bone stock. 2.5 4cyl, 5 speed, 4x4, radio delete, idiot light dashboard, black vinyl floor, blue interior, bench seat. I was at my local junkyard and found a shell for it from a Mazda pickup.

Ok. Ok thank you. They are Factory original equipment. Would a 1989 Cherokee 4.0 work?

I removed the line from the proportion valve and blew it out with the air compressor. First, it seemed to be blocked but then it opened up. I really think, after some research, that it's the valve. I also installed a 8.8 axle with discs, so my proportion valve was running disc front and drum rear. Now 4 wheel discs. No engine replacement. I'm looking into getting a Jeggs 4 wheel discs distribution block.

Ugg, 1986 jeep Comanche. 2.5 5 speed 4x4. I just did a wj dual brake booster swap. And a 8.8 axle swap too. I can bleed the rear brakes fine. Left front also. But the right front, %#×@+@%!!!! I took out the booster, and the master cylinder. To access the distribution block. I undid the right side brake line and blew it our with an air compressor. Re assembled it. Still can't get fluid to the front right. Can a distribution block get plugged? Is it a dealer item only?

How would I find the thread about it?

Since my 86 dosen't have air conditioning, just a 260 ac. 2 window down at 60 mph. I recycle pallets, and I have a dog that rides with me. So I wanted to have an inside temperature unit. This one works great. https://www.amazon.com/DROK-180038-Temperature-Multimeter-Thermometer/dp/B00SXZDKTW

So would it be in the best interest for me to use it or get rid of it? 8.8 axle swap.

Picture work best. Also I have noticed that a brake line comes in. Ts off goes to this and then goes somewhere else.

I'm doing a Ford explorer 8.8 swap. I have noticed that when I run the emergency brake cables that I'm going to have an issue with the fuel tank. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you remedy it? 1986 Comanche long bed.

That attaches to the rear axle differential cover that has brake lines going to it?

I agree, I love mine. I also have one of these lights. The cable is so long you can walk clear around the truck. -

Oh that makes sense. The glue part. No wonder I couldn't get it apart.

Curious about the name of the part that bolts/connects to the Ford 8.8 axle and the jeep driveshaft. The picture shows the 4 bolts. I tried to get the piece in question but had difficulty in removing it. Thank you.

I want to tint it with the shade of blue used on the dodge challenger and charger. Since the interior is blue in my Comanche. I want to keep the 2 tone colors. White on top with blue below. Actually its a trial for my barn find 1960 Ford f350 one ton. I want to spray some areas on the 60.

Well, as the saying goes. If the wife isn't happy, no one is happy. I was planning on using the 87 Comanche as a parts truck. I was nice to a guy at a gas station and struck up a conversation, told him that I had spare Cherokee parts on hand. Couldn't help him but he later called me to ask me if I wanted the Comanche for free. His rear axle split into. I towed it home and my wife wanted it. So it's my wife's truck, it's my wife color.
