  1. I’m half tempted to go back and measure. Chances are they’re probably too long, but you never know.
  2. I did have another set. I found these at a junkyard recently.
  3. I saw this old Wagoneer at the junkyard and noticed it had chrome rain guards. Is it possible these can be installed on a Comanche?
  4. I have 4 center caps that are in pretty good shape, but dirty. What would be the best way to clean them up without causing any damage?
  5. Just examined the distributor to see if there was any muddy water, not a drop. I looked where the rotor is too and didn't see any water.
  6. Headlights come on, air filters seems dry.
  7. I hit a big puddle while driving on the road. My truck was fine at first, but then started to lose power. About a mile later, it really started to lose power. Eventually, it just started shaking, on the verge of turning off. I started it today and it had a rough idle. Now I can't even get it to turn over. Does anyone know what could be the issue? I am afraid the water is trapped, but I'm not sure what to do. Thanks.
  8. Motor week uploaded a new Comanche Retro Review on March 28. They show some clips of the trucks being assembled in the factory. Worth a watch. Comanches on the assembly line.
  9. Anyone know if the ‘87 has the plug?
  10. I have these tweeters from an XJ style Wagoneer. How difficult is it to wire them up? Thanks
  11. Do Comanches come with the connectors for a quartz clock and ashtray light? Would like to install on my 1987. If not, is it difficult to wire them up? Thanks.
  12. There are 2 hinges at the top and 2 hard mounts at the bottom (3M tape placed directly on the outside rubber part of the window). The louvers have 4 holes that allow it to be mounted to the brackets with nuts. The hinges allow it to swing upward to allow access to the window (My sport bar only allows me to swing a little bit). Altogether, the louvers can easily come off by removing the nuts.
  13. I installed new rear window louvers on my 1987 Comanche. Install wasn’t hard, but it took some time to prep and properly line everything up.
  14. I drew the lights on the visor. Used the black truck as a reference.
  15. I would like it to have a deeper tone. But I don’t want too much drone. With the cat on, maybe drone wouldn’t be so bad.
  16. I’m debating whether to mess with the exhaust on my ‘87 Comanche. I saw this video of a 4.0 Cherokee with a Flowmaster Super 10. Would my 4.0 Comanche sounds like this? Would the drone be unbearable?
  17. I sent a PM to the vendor to see if he could do it. Fingers crossed!
  18. Look what I found. I wonder if these could be installed? https://www.ebay.com/i/162499554197?rt=nc&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20160908110712%26meid%3Dec94e19dea524a86b64d16ea4bd851b3%26pid%3D100677%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D162488807645%26itm%3D162499554197
  19. I have to agree with you. The original style looks pretty good. If I were to get a repo, I would go without the lights. But an original moon visor would be awesome.
  20. Like this?
  21. Thanks for the tips. I haven’t decided whether to go with the lighted or non-lighted visor.
  22. Why are these bumpers always in rough shape?
  23. Anyone have a white Lund visor? Would like one for my 1987. Here’s is a render of what I’m looking for.
