Thanks - I was wondering if that was an option. Still leaves me with a $100 power window kit I can’t return but at least my windows will work! 😂

My high idle was TPS sensor. Apparently it had been replaced at some point and wasn’t a direct replacement and was not seated properly. Removed, shaved a bit of the plastic ring off to get a more flush fit and idle dropped right back to normal.

I’m in the same boat - was hoping someone would tell me that a different year Cherokee part that would work. Both regulators stripped - my intention was to install a power window kit (which I can’t return now) but need the regulator issue addressed first. I have found a couple power regulators (either driver or passenger - not both). like you, I don’t want to spend money and time installing a used part that may work for a while then crap out on me.

Thank you so much for this post! I did my swap to get the shift indicator in and was able to get the correct mileage on the gauge after a PO “guessed” rather than using what was on the original gauge. The hardest part was getting the darn thing out of the dash! Many thanks for sharing!!!
