  1. What amount of angle are we thinking I should be at when I get this tool to use?
  2. Exactly where I'm at I was guessing hopefully I was good at. It seems to go down the road fairly straightforward right now. I will buy that and have to get back to everyone on my results.
  3. Driver's side
  4. Why I ask if something could be major bent axle wise is because when I got this truck I noticed the lca on the pass side the upper mount of it had something broke. There's an inner adjustable sleeve. I believe it's to keep the bolt from moving on the elongated area my pass side has way more shims in it then the driver's side. I added more washers to it to get my wheelbase right to match the driver's side measurements. From the pics you can see what I'm talking about. I think this truck took a hard hit on it's suspension at one time.
  5. I appreciate his info. The thing I can't figure is the spindle steering stop bolt. On the pass side it hits it's stop about the same time the tire touches the sway bar link. So would something else be bent as well?
  6. Thanks! The lca's are RC replacement arms for 4.5 lift. The uca's are the oem MJ ones.
  7. I have added the ZJ upgrade steering components to this rig as well. Here's pics
  8. I was considering maybe a 1/4 spacer. I was messing around with washers last night in the garage just for measurements.
  9. I'm going to get a pic right now.
  10. I do not have one of those I will buy one tho to see what it's at.
  11. Ok. Yes stock upper arms are still in place.
  12. I have that in the plan to do next. I just did the tape measure from tire to tire best I could tonight to get the toe close for driving. Would offset ball joints help this situation much?
  13. The Ravines are the only wheels I have for the truck. I got the truck from a yard saved it. It was missing the wheels and engine when I got it was sitting on the rotors and drums. Those are replaced now along with new upper and lower ball joints. I will get a front pic of it tomorrow. Thanks for your replies Soo far!
  14. The steering stops on both sides are intact. When the passenger side gets to touching it's stop that's when the tire is just about touching the swaybar link mount.
  15. Well I know for sure it's not adjustable track bar on my truck. I don't know if it's part of the kit or not?
  16. I'm thinking something has to be bent or out of alignment for it to rub on the mount at full lock? I thought maybe it was my backspacing on the wheels I put on.
  17. I bought the Jeep with no engine and the lift already on it. I just replaced the lower RC arms as the bushings were worn out.
  18. The best pic I can get tonight in the garage.
  19. 88 mj 4.0 4wd. Has RC 4.5 lift with drop down swaybar brackets. I put on Ravines with 31/10.50-15 bfg's. My problem I seem to be having is the tire is rubbing the passenger side swaybar link mount. The part attached to the axle. It seems to only happen on the passenger side when turning to the left. Right side does not touch. Would this be an issue of the 10.50 on this rim it do I need a 1/4 spacer??
  20. Sorry been busy working and stuff for the holidays. Still haven't nailed it down yet. Did come across this issue today. This was initial startup.REM: Open LP , 4.86vO2, Lean EX. After 5 mins running it was: open LP, 0.66vO2, Lean EX.
  21. Yes I'm sure it will come around sooner or later the problem. I can't drive it on the road till close the end of December anyways. I mixed the title up with it and the the donor. Now I have to wait to get the good driver one back. Anyways I just got the "big three" I think they call it done. Now its 1 gauge battery wires and ground wires with ox gard on them now.
  22. Well that's good to hear. I just bought some if that ox gard stuff tonight going to put that on some ground spots to sure them up alittle better. Still on the hunt for the fix.
  23. Quite quickly. I mean I've been running it here an there throughout today. It's warmed up right now I would think thats normal at idle unless I'm wrong on that?
  24. Oh well I didn't get anything to bleed out. I thought maybe they get carbon buildup and just don't function anymore? It seems from reading alittle here an there. The map, egr, and iat heck probably all of them play a vital role in idling. I just thought since the iat was so cruddy looking and the egr had crap on it I may be able to nip this in the butt with those being cleaner. I've gone over alit of grounds. Made the ground area clean used bigger wire. Made multiple ground spots. I think I'm close it's just something little holding it back. Crappy 02 maybe?
