First off is there any write ups on this. :help: My truck is a 90 Swb 2.5 4x4 5speed I wanna do this because i work on boats and have to tow them around town luckily i live in South Florida so no hills to slow me down but even then these boats really work that old 2.5. Ive had a couple xjs with the 4.0 and they pull just fine but i need the bed to haul parts and tools also. Ive already got a 4.0 in the shed that will be rebuilt soon an a donor 90 xj with a running 4.0. What should i do and anybody up for helping ill supply the beer. :cheers: :cheers:

How Much to do a complete rebuild while also turning it into a stroker? I'm Buying a 89 2wd sb auto 4.0 and want to make it a fast street truck and want to keep a jeep engine in it. Any tips and pointers will be appreciated. Thanks

Check the sensor on the tranny i forget what its called but its on the top drivers side trace the wires to make sure theres no breaks in it i had the same problem went through everything and turned out the wiring was bad

if anyone has one let me know please i ordered one that some yahoo said works for a 2.5 but its to the 4.0

like i said its just an estimateit moves up a little bit passed a hundred

Its Just an estimate from where the needle lies

the gauge is reading 110 so i think it might be the sending unit how would i check
