  1. Aha, found the culprit. Seems the connector to the brakepedal had melted and a wire snapped off. Kind of odd that your hazard won't work if the brakelight switch malfunctions Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  2. Noticed now that the fuse don't seem to be blown. But both hazard and brake lights don't work. Is there difference between fuses. When I changed the fuse last time I put in a cheap one with a led in it. Gonna change back to the old ones just to be certain. The electric system on these really seem to have a life of its own.....[emoji43] Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  3. It does not blow right away, it works for a while when I put a new one in. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  4. Is there any obvious reason that I should check? Not really sure what makes a fuse blow, is it a short or to much load? /Mathias Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for the answers. Think I'm gonna try to keep it. don't know how hard the inspection guys are on old cars like this though. It turns 30 this next year. Then its considered a veteran car, and you only have to inspect it every other year. I actually tried sucking in vacumhose and it did move so it might work[emoji23][emoji106]. Will have to invent another connection for the snorkel. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  6. Its on the air intake. don't really know what cowl is? As you can see I will have to remove it to fit the snorkel on the intake. Its supposed to sit snug direcly on the air box. Or am I being really stupid here? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  7. I'm trying to fit a snorkel. But this is in the way. What is it for? Can I get rid of it? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  8. Thanks Cruiser, will do. Do you think the "cough" from what I believe is the starter might be bad ground on the starter itself? Seems like its hesitating sometimes. Battery is 6 months, alternator is good. I got the Nickintimes REM plugged in so I know its charging good. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  9. Thanks, Ill check the cps. Maybe do some battery cables aswell? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  10. Hi guys So, my truck (-88 4L aut) has now on two occations suddenly died. Its like if you turn it off, but while driving. Thankfully it has been while coming to a stop on small streets. I have just stopped, it fires right up if I just turn the key again. Maybe it cranks for a few more seconds when turning the key again. I have noticed that it seems to "cough" a bit on the cranking lately, not the engine but the starter I think. Could these issues be related? I was thinking the starter is going out, but the EMP syndrome seems more of a bad connection issue somewhere. Anyone got any ideas as to where to start looking? Can you change the coal on the starter? No idea if it is still stock though. Cheers Mathias Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  11. Ok, thanks. Do I need to fix it? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk

  15. Hi all Had a loose steering column that I tightened yesterday. Managed to get it all apart, tightened and put it all back togheter again. Everything worked fine. BUT it seems I now got no dashlight, taillights and platelights. Brakelights, backup and headligths, both low and high works fine. Checked fuses, and connectors under dash I might have displaced. I'm thinking the headlightswitch, but shouldnt all lights stop working then? Mathias Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk

  22. Thank u guys for the answers. Pete, do you know what the chevy shackles measure eye to eye? I really don't want to order from the states if I'm not 100% sure they will fit. Shipping is really expensive[emoji33] Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  23. Is there any kind soul here that can help me out. I want 1-2 inch lift to the rear of my truck. Thinking of buying new shackels. Since I'm in sweden few vendors here have parts for our cars, and even fewer have any knowledge of them. I need some help with this. Found one retailer that sells rough contry products. Anyone know if any of there drop shackels fit the MJ? Was looking at RC0501? Thanks in advance Mathias
