  1. ^this^ Get a set of spacers/adapters off ebay for $100 Surf craigslist and you'll find 10 sets of jk rubicon wheels and tires for sale for 400-900 Bfg mud terrain 265 (about 32") Keeps it all jeep and subtle
  2. we got like a half inch out of the 4-6 forecasted :( have you run around town with the plow on? highway speeds? I've moved it in all directions/angles and it runs right on the red at the coolest fan blasting...not sure how to combat that yet 88AKChief they are stock jk rubicon wheels/tires on adapters
  3. Brickmiata looks like you're gonna get killed up there! Yeah in low range with the tires around 20psi or so it's pretty tough to stop I was gonna suggest airing down but things in New England seem to be losing air on their own lately ;)
  4. Nice...I've had tons of people stop me and question how I can possibly plow snow in that tiny truck ha...btw if your controller gives up the ghost I had a buddy who wired up an old Atari? Controller and it worked awesome saved $150 easy....still waiting on the big snow we are supposed to get tonight Pic from this summer...I changed some stuff around and did a test run
  5. I love those wheels...
  6. Thanks guys...I have a sticker/vinyl guy but if I'm going to get something done I might just go the custom route The entire truck was swapped with a country xj so I thought the 'pioneer' sticker would be cool if it said 'country'
  7. My pass side bed is missing the graphic...while I'm not crazy about it in general id still like it to match I've done some searching for this model (92 sport option I think) I can't find any Decal kits for it with the cheesy 80's bubble effect Anyone have any leads? If not I'm probably going to eraser wheel them off altogether and go with a pioneer decal set Which would look better anyway but I figured it can't hurt to ask
  8. Yep that's exactly what I did If you want to keep the white door skins it's not to hard to swap the power window motor/locks over assuming you have manual now Just have to drill out a couple rivets per side...takes a little time but keeps it all one color (unless your going to paint it anyway ;) Even swapped power mirrors so now I'm making a little cupholder to house the mirror switch (keeping bench seat) Power bucket seat will not swap btw...need to drill out the spot welds and swap the hump I did it before and it's not worth the effort unless your 5'8" and can move the seat up to adjust it anyway Like you said I used every wire from a Cherokee so I used the Cherokee fuel pump so it plugs right up I had to cut the support rod and rotate the pickup 90* then re tack it If you lay the pumps side by side you will see what I mean
  9. I just did a 96 4.0 into an 89 2.5 Just have to swap plates that bolt to the frame and use 4.0 rad assembly Pretty easy really If your swapping everything I would recommend swapping heater core, 4wd front end and steering column (for cruise control buttons!) before you drop the 4.0 in Easier to get to everything with no motor in the way
  10. saw this truck at the PAJeep show this weekend and its i couldnt believe they had already done UA...i was expecting it to look like a crushed soda can afterward but it literally had one quarter sized dent guys from zone took time to shoot the $#!& for a while too  anyway that front winch bumper set up is the ticket

    MD guys

harford county too... pa jeep show is really cool...not too many comanches there for local wheeling rausch creek PA is about 99 miles from my house and its basically the best offroad park in the north east big dogs is in gore VA (near winchester) and is equally badass...both are mild to extremely hardcore rock trails i believe GW is now closed...its basically a dirt road anyway...beautiful scenery tho everything else near md. is illegal unless you know the owner of the farm you are riding on
  13. i was thinking about that but the Mj drivers door has a decent dent along the b-pillar which i think would be a pain to fix...may still be an option though
  14. yeah these doors are from a 4door...i know they measured out the same but after reading the post i was worried about the vent windows or door striker not matching or something to that affect...thanks for the response
  15. ive swapped an entire 96 country edition xj into my 89 manche (drivetrain/dash/wiring/seats/etc)...so i want to use power windows/locks/mirrors...i did a couple quick measurements a while ago and just went with the assumption that i could swap the '96 doors on when i got to that point... i just read on the 'things mj owners should know' thread that only '97 and up doors will swap...is this true? because that would suck
