    Option catalog?

You should scan and upload it PFC, maybe other people have the other years and we can get a library going. I used to have one of those for my 71 Skylark, I remember you could choose from two different types of tissue box holders...
  2. Awesome! Nice to meet you!
  3. I'll be going through your whole list tomorrow as a matter of fact. I just hope whatever is causing this problem is something easy to fix. Other than the occasional hiccups and a small exhaust leak (hole in the front pipe, PO tried to patch with a Beer can  ) The truck runs very well and rather smooth. Thanks for all of the help!
  4. No, i didnt do them, the PO said they were new but i treat stuff like that with a grain of salt, if i didnt see it get done, than it hasnt been done. Lol. Also, an update, the oil pan has been leaking so i've been keeping an eye on the oil level as best i can. The night it stalled out, it was over a quart low, i filled it up and it was fine after that. It seems to only do the hiccup thing when its low on oil, i'm going to be replacing the pan gasket this weekend.
  5. I don't have any torx at the moment. I need to get some, are all of them torx or just two of them?
  6. 1988 MJ 4.0l 4x4 automatic and i will check on that.
  7. After i bought my comanche, i noticed that every now and then it would "hiccup" when accelerating (best way i can describe it is it cuts out for a split second and then it's fine) After checking over a few things, i noticed that it was a quart low on tranny fluid. I put a quart in, and it seemed fine for a couple of days. Today it started doing it again. Other than that, it has been running fine. Today after picking up dinner, i tried to pull out of the parking lot, i backed out of my space, but the truck died when i shifted into drive. Started again, same thing, after a few tries i got it to move and it died when i got to a stop light, started again and now it was idling fine again. After driving a short way home, i let it idle in drive to see what it would do, now it was perfectly fine again. I'm stumped!
  8. I'm in the same boat. Though i have time warner. They tell me it should be fixed on Friday.
  9. The first thing i do when i get a car is give it a personal checkup, that includes examining every fuse. None of them are blown but a few looked pretty old and might be corroded. The past two cars i've had used a similar type of switch, when i noticed the dash lights werent comming on, i turned the knob both ways and nothing happened.
  10. Thank you for the warm welcome, right now I only really have one question and that is why won't my instrument lights work. I've read the other threads about it though and determined that it's either the ground (but wouldn't that make other things not work?), the switch, or the bulbs (how likely is it for ALL of them to go out?)
  11. I found out that my Ghia was originally yellow, but was painted red about 10 years ago. In a lot of ways, that engine was easy to work on yes. I'm sad to see it go. But, I'm very excited to have the MJ. I've never had a truck, or a Jeep, or anything with 4wd before. Most of the cars I've had were made before 1974 and had big V8s in the front!
  12. Apperantly it won't let me add the images the normal way since i'm posting from a phone. But here's a link: http://imgur.com/b0397c1 And a couple interior shots: http://imgur.com/Qy66S9k http://imgur.com/BfYyLon And here's one of the Ghia: http://imgur.com/snBdOFz I'm in Jacksonville, NC. Thank you for the warm welcome. Now i just have to remember how to work on an engine with a radiator again. ;)
  13. Hello everyone! I am the newest owner of a 1988 Comanche Pioneer 4x4. I lurked around this forum for almost a week before finally buying it and I have to say thank you to everyone for helping me make my decision. I recently had to give up my 69 Karmann Ghia (unwillingly, I assure you), so I wanted to pick something unique. I will post pics once I figure out how to do so. But the truck is in fairly ok condition, and runs real nice. Nice to meet all of you!
