I just bought the one in PA. FINALLY!!!!

I was going to buy it but I guess it can not make the 100 mile trip and needs to be towed. Not exactly what I am looking for.

I do not have the Vin. Interior is Red, Red Bench, Red Plastics.

Its in CT, I am in RI. He has had it since Oct..... I told him cash on delivery at a price if he could do it tomorrow, he was not sure it could make. I am not impressed. Not sure what to do at this point. Pics are clean.

I have been searching for a Comanche lately, a few have missed my grasp by just hours. I need some advice, I have found a clean 86 Diesel. Its mileage if fairly low for the year and the frame has been completely redone and rhino lined. There is a new bed on it and it is almost complete. It needs paint, some interior work, for some reason it sputters at 2500 Rpms but is fine when you push it a bit more. It is a 4x4 and the rear seal leaks a bit. It is around 4k. I do not believe anyone has seen the truck in the forum but I may be wrong. I guess I just need some advice since I also found a RWD Comanche that is 5 hours out for half the price, 4.0 5 speed. Clean frame and body, it sat in a barn for the past 10 years. Low mileage but i do not know the exact number and I am not sure if there is a clean title. I really want a 4X4 but the diesel is so elusive that it has my attention. I have no idea how to work on them, not sure what to listen to, nor do I even know if the Renault is reliable! Help!

The one in CT I went to go look at was a 2.5 5speed 2WD. I am not ruling anything out. I would prefer the 4x4 because I fish so much I always wind up down somewhere where I shouldn't be. If you guys know anyone in New England that is an Comanche lifer, I would appreciate it! Maybe they can point me in the right direction.

Can I get in on this topic as well? I am in New England and have been searching everywhere for a Comanche. I came across one in CT the other day, but by the time I contacted the guy and set up a time to see it, it was sold. I am not so sure about the ones on EBay I have seen. It appears that they keep allowing the auctions to go off, and then they are back up two days later because the seller did not get the 8 grand they were looking for. I have been looking for a 4.0 5 speed with 4x4 but it appears that my search is not yielding many results. Does anyone have suggestions on how to increase my search?
