  1. The AW 4 the Dana 44 with Trac Loc, and 4.11 thick gears, make driving, the Eliminator easy/peasy, I'm spoiled, not a lot of freeways on the island, but we do have some challenges with lava roads and pretty severe grades. Climbs like a Billy goat.
  2. The O2 is the third one in 10 days, had initially ??? O2, put in the NTK, lasted 2 days, then another NTK, 4,5 days, now the Bosch a couple of days, so far so good
  3. Get rid of that BA10, you should be able to find an AX15. What gears? 3.54 or 3.07?
  4. I have the 89 ECU, 746's, and a 60mm TB. Stock airbox, stock sensors, now running the Bosch O2. Stock plugs, coppers.
  5. JMO413, & OHM are you both saying your LTFT is 90, 91 and now mine is 91 what are the chances of that being random versus something that was designed into the fuel mapping?
  6. Ok just got back average speed 45 mph, for about 30 minutes. LTFT is now 91 down from 97
  7. The truck is my Eliminator, the 89', 4.0L, automatic. Just checked mine again, LTFT is at 97. I did do a key off, after checking, and then started up again stayed the same 97. I don't think I drove 40 miles over 40mph.
  8. Scanner is a MT2500 with the primary cartridge GM-Chrysler-Ford-Jeep, and the trouble shooter cartridge that is labeled the same
  9. I will let you know. We have the data, now let's see what it does.
  10. Well I don't know how well I did it seems a little weird, but I got a YOUTUBE link posted in Modifications & Repairs, it appears like its the whole video not just a link to the video.
  11. OK, as of 3/8/19 Scan of 89' renix O2 data. LTFT has readjusted during a drive cycle.
  12. Wouldn't the ECU read the data from the sensors MAP, O2, CTS, and adjust accordingly especially if we are talking about fuel delivery? To little fuel longer duration of the pulse width, to much fuel shorter duration of the pulse width. If a given injector delivers x amount of fuel per hour at a given pressure, and the fuel delivery is to much or to little isn't that what the ECU is suppose to compensate for?
  13. Read the section Pulse Width Modification, what is ALFACL? What ever it is, its a correction factor that controls pulse width and can change based upon a number of external conditions.
  14. Is there a Renix fuel injection guru on the forum? I started the post to try an understand the reasons for my failures of O2 sensors. I don't think Renix ECU's had KAM, then it would be able to store data, ie codes? But the understanding of the relationship between STFT and LTFT as controlled by the ECU is interesting, but I have looked through all my manuals including the Renix FI, manual and nothing specific
  15. I had a similar question to Ohm, LTFT is triggered by STFT hitting limits, then and only then would LTFT adjust itself depending on the triggered limit STFT hit? If you read the last sentence, thats the question, does the Renix ECU actually adjust the LTFT if the STFT hits a limit. I know as of this morning my LTFT is 128 rock solid no movement, the STFT is all over the place moving up and down in the 70's to the High 80's. But the scanner is showing voltage changes from lean to rich, it is running in closed loop, and the sensor appears to be operational at this point.
  16. Just a couple of questions, when you are sending the video to YouTube how is it sent? via e-mail, via the internet, the reason I am asking is some carriers have limitations on the size of the file transfer. I have Verizon as my carrier, and as stated earlier, RoadRunner is my ISP provider. Not sure what the size limits are for Verizon, but RR is only 20MB which is not very much. My biggest issue was controlling the size of the video file. A minute doesen't seem like a long time but it was 124MB, then you have to trim it down to fit the size requirements.
  17. The best part was I was sending the video via email from my phone to my laptop. I also found out that there are size restrictions for file sizes for mobile email. I have roadrunner and it only 20MB file sizes from cell phones to PC's.
  18. Yes I made the video from my smart phone. 1st one was about a minute and it was 124MB which I didn't think was very big. Until I got to the posting and saw file attachements had a 9.77MB size restriction. Then I had to learn how to trim the video down to fit the size of the acceptable attachment size for posting I think it was about 3-5 seconds from a minute. It seems to make more sense posting a link than having us support the file size of the video.
  19. Good question, I think I will have to look at some schematics and see what goes where?
  20. Only now I have to figure out how to post video to YouTube. HA HA Isn't technology just wonderful
  21. Being a senior citizen, if I understand this correctly I am posting the link and not the file. Therefore I have no 9.77MB file size restriction because I am just posting the link to the file which is hosted by YouTube. YES?
  22. Isn't the CTS on the block and the temp sender in the head? I would think the scanner is monitoring the CTS and not the temp sender
  23. Modifications & repairs is where my current posting is located.
