i bought an 89 comanche 4 off road use only. the dash has been cut out along with multiple wires. the ingition is now a push button. i have had it out a handful of times with no problems but on the last trip the fuel pump quit. ive checked all the wires and their all hot when the ingition is on but u can't hear the fuel pump running. Is there a fuel pump relay? if so where would it be located. Anything helps. thanks.

how can i find out my gear ratio in my dana 30? i might be selling it but i need to find out the ratio. i know my 89 has 3.55 but my parts truck is an 87 4.0 4x4.

a dana 60 rear and a dana 44 front they came out of a 1978 ford f150 the front axle has been converted to 8 lug outers they have 3.55 gears and are complete. can't get the pics to work, there little rusty, width?, for a truggy. if i do buy these i got 2 d 30's and a mj 44 i belive. central indiana

Not sure what the rear came out of could it be stock? I want to upgrade my front to a 44. I was wanting to get a spec sheet off the two jeeps i have. I could get one off the VIN right?

What d 44 will fit under my comanche width-wise? I have one in the rear with 3.55 gear but wouldn't mind if i had to change.

yeah i traded my samurai for it and the other kid wanted to keep his 36 iroks. they looked good. i want to run 35 or 36's. i do have a parts truck with auto wiring. but i don't plan to swap anything till i have to lol. Check the for sale section if you guys need anything. thanks again

hey thanks a lot i do plan on wrenching on it with my dad. I thought that the purchase wasn't bad. i bought it in the hood and he tried to start it and the muffler blow up :laughin: but i got fenders, door glass,handles, windshield,back glass, motor, tranny, transfer another dirty 30 and a lot of scrap metal :laughin:

Hey guys i just recently sold my suzuki samurai and bought a 89 commanche with a rustys 9 inch lift 33's, 4.0 manuel, and its rust free. then last week i was on craigslist and found a 87 commanche stock 4.0 auto for 400 bucks (parts truck) . it runs rough but i thought it was a deal. So i had a few ?'s. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Was the 87 a good idea? work with the 89? what tire size with Dana 30 and 44? rebuilding a 4.0 moneywise? manuel 2 auto conversion? difficult? wheel base for a truggy? i"ll post pics later and i may have a few items for sale if u guys need anything. i just plan on it to be a woods jeep also.
