  1. Thanks for the information. That really helps.
  2. I have a 1990 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4.0L Automatic Short Bed and I was wondering which interior pieces from the Cherokee will fit? I need to replace the door panels, pretty much the entire dash, seats, add a center console, etc. What will fit???
  3. The only one that seemed out of the ordinary was the one on the 5th cylinder. Thanks for the idea, I'll try swapping the injectors.
  4. I was having the problem before I did the spark plugs and everything, that's why I did them to see if maybe that would fix it but it didn't.
  5. Already tried it. The spark plugs before were getting spark but it was about time anyways to put in new ones. The new ones are all working the way they should be.
  6. I had a gut feeling that my engine wasn't running all six cylinders and when doing a run through I found out that the fifth cylinder from the front isn't working. There are all new spark plugs and wires and I'm getting spark to the spark plug in the cylinder and the compression is perfect but it's running extremely rich. I just put the spark plugs in three days ago and that one was black. I'm guessing either the fuel injector isn't getting a signal to it or it may be stuck open. Any thoughts?
  7. We're a Jeep family here at my house, except for my mom of course, she drives a Found On Road Dead F150. My dad has a 1989 YJ 4.2L Puke-N-Go transmission and a 2002 TJ 4.0L standard and now I have my very own Comanche. A buddy of mine used to have one and I immediately fell in love with it and always wanted one, well now I have one. I've got a long list of ideas for this thing. Right back at ya no headliner dude.
  8. Thanks, the wheels and tires that are on there now are the ones I had lying around. I gave those turbine rims to my dad, he likes them. It has the factory bedliner with Comanche on it but I'll be selling that sometime soon. It's in pretty darn good shape but I prefer Herculiner. As you may be able to see in the photos, the front and rear bumper are pretty banged up but I'm going to get a new black diamond step bumper for the rear and a Warrior front bumper with the grille guard. The Pioneer stripes are going when I do the paint job. I'll paint on a custom Pioneer logo. Trust me, I have a long list of things I have planned for this baby.
  9. Don't get me wrong, yes that's some nice numbers, but what that company has done to a perfectly good line of vehicles still upsets me. I still firmly believe the Compass, Patriot, Liberty, and the Compass should be scrapped. What was wrong with the Cherokee or possibly bringing back the Comanche? The simple fact that they decided to scrap the Comanche for the Dakota is a joke. The Dakota doesn't even compare.
  10. She's a 1990 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 2WD 4.0L Automatic SWB. She has 244,000 miles on her but still runs pretty good. I got her for $500.00 off of my brother-in-law's aunt. She's been neglected but I think I can bring her back.
  11. Just more proof that Chrysler has officially lost their minds.
  12. If it's a 90 you'll have the Renix system. Chrysler put their own system in starting with the 91 models. As for the transmission you have the Aisin AW4. Chrysler's 3-Speed TorqueFlite A904 was available only for the 2.5L I4 and the 2.8L V6 in 1986.
  13. In between Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach.
  14. I have a 1990 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 2WD 4.0L Automatic SWB. I just got her for $500 from my brother-in-law's aunt. I can tell it's been abused so I'll have to go out there tomorrow and see where I stand.
  15. Thanks. I need to get a new rear bumper and a new front bumper definitely because they are both jacked up. I was thinking about getting the Warrior Products Jeep Cherokee Front Bumper With Brush Guard for the front and get just a FEY Black Diamond Step Bumper for the rear.
  16. I just got her off my brother-in-law's aunt for $500. She has 244,000 miles on her with a new transmission. Already slapped some new wheels and tires on, I didn't like the old wheels so I gave them to my dad and the old tires were shot. I've got a real good starting point and I'm open to ideas for customizing this baby. I've already decided a name for her, Vanessa. I can tell she's been neglected, I'll have to check all the fluids and everything tomorrow. I already have a few ideas of what I'm going to do with it. Sorry, it was dark outside but I just got so excited I had to take some pictures.
