Don't use a TJ D30, it's low pinion and a weaker R&P setup than the HP D30 in XJ's. Then swap in 297x shafts if it doesn't have them already.
i just found out its not a tj30 its an old xj non disco with tj shafts..
well i have had my comanche about 3 weeks now and have only driven it once..before i bought it..when i got it home it needed a new steering column and a few wires were melted on the ignition...i put another column in and fixed the wires...now the jeep won't get any power inside the cab..it stops at the fuse box i think... a few days ago my friend slammed the passenger door and all the power came on!! i then tried to start it and the power went back out..then lastnight i went outside and the dang thing was purrin..the power came on and the fan came on...i don't know what it could be??? ive never messed with wiring.. any suggestions?
hi i have an 88 mj and the door locks are messed up ive done some measuring and i think the doors off my 86 4dr cherokee will fit i was wondring if anyone has already don't this or if it will even work..
its is cool ive just never seen those fastback things before.. but my comanche is going to be "ugly" and bare body.. i hope to get pics of it lifted and wheeling soon..
iam putting a 5" lift on it 33" LTBs, rear 8.8 and front tj 30 with 4.88s
i hope to get it up and running real soon... it will basically look like my cherokee but a comanche....
yea ive noticed every comanche here is pretty much stock... thats not what my comanche will look like!
