  1. or linseed oil. When I had a caged ranger desert truck i kept my cage front to back coated in linseed oil. Wipes off to clean bare metal
  2. I am extremely interested in this kit. Looking at 4x4groupbuy because it comes with shocks for ~1200.00. Looks like the most solid kit out there to me. Is anyone on the forum running it or have pictures of how it looks when installed?
  3. So it looks like I will be going with Magnaflow Muffler and cat, with a OEM style manifold.
  4. Anyone have a recommendation on brand of cat? I'm in CA so most are no bueno. I was looking at the magnaflow CA universal cat
  5. Does anyone make a complete system or do I just have to piece one together myself?
  6. Has anyone on the forum done it? I used to build prerunners and that was pretty much the prized axle, Yet most go to a D44 or a 8.25. Pros, cons? I have more access to 9" axles but just wondering why its not a popular option.
  7. Mine came with original window sticker.... Ill post pictures when i get out of work
  8. My 2.5 came with a cherrybomb.... sounds bad. Not too loud til you get up to 3000 RPM then it sounds like a rice rocket.... go OEM style
  9. Also, I forgot to mention, my engine is the 2.5l AMC. So far I love it. Slow, but runs strong and only has 164,xxx original miles.
  10. Here in Mammoth Lakes, CA, they don't use salt or any kind of snow melt. Things get a little icy but our lows never get below 0 and rarely below 10. We average about 300 inches a year with 450-600 not uncommon. Plows scrape the roads and call it good!
  11. Here is my 86 MJ the day I got it home last week. Bought it for $1000 with a few smog problems. Replaced and routed new EGR valve for 80 bucks and now with $1080 i have a registered rust-free comanche! As soon as it stops snowing first project will be removing the wheel spacers from the front end, and painting the rims with a spray on bedliner. "Ghetto fab" bumper is getting replaced with a Rough Country winch bumper. 2" lift is getting the boot for a 6.5" lift. 33x12.50 Goodyear MTRs will be the shoes of choice. Will be re-doing the whole interior with the factory burgandy color. Custom rock sliders will be added and underbody armor. I will be updating constantly with new pictures but since I don't have a garage it will have to wait until the weather allows. I am new to this forum and look forward to hearing all the great input from the members.
