  1. i think the look of the waggy frontend on the manche is great! my 88 looks good like that... one of my favorite mods.
  2. yes thats where the vent goes. there should be a plastic fitting sticking out of that hole. the vent hose then atatches to that and runs to the top of the bellhousing.

    Big Problems

i've encountered this same problem on several fords. parts are cheap through the dealer...less than 20 each i beleive. dirt gets trapped on or in them and rots them away. seen this happen to trucks less than 10 years old. thankfully its an easy fix.
  4. i downloaded that fsm for my truck. thats sure was alot of pages to print and hole punch!!! :chillin:
  5. any one will work with adjustment. one from a 6 cylinder will work without adjustment. 2.8 or 4.0 will work.
  6. sux about the xj, all that work. i have other plans for the v-8 as this jeep has the 4.0 instead of the 2.5. ans sorry, the swingout and mounts are already sold. i may know where there is another one though...give me a few days and ill let ya know.
  7. all the tacs are basically the same, just calibrated differently. my 86 xj had a sbc installed and i still used a factory tach. there is a potentiameter on the back that can be adjusted to calibrate the tach, very simple to do.

  11. just picked up this 88 mj to replace my trail only xj that lost a fight with a tree in a storm. plans for this are to use everything from the xj yet keep it streetable. it sat for 2 years because the rear is wasted... takes 4-lo for it to move on its own. 6in of lift, rk 3 link, soa, custom bumpers, rockrails, etc, etc. a new neverending project... don't ya just love jeeps! http://www.fototime.com/3384FE6209DBBD4/medium.jpghttp://www.fototime.com/7494DB31CAEB0EC/medium.jpg
