putting 5.5 inch Rubicon Springs in my sons 1990 long bed MJ, what options do I have for the rear springs to level it out. Will a spring over with stock leafs work? or do I have to use aftermarket springs, anyone make a 5.5 spring under leaf pack?

had one at one time a few years ago, 600 is a good buy sold mine that was not quite in the same shape for $2500 Chevy 350 fits very nice in this truck

Has anyone built a trail rider MJ with front leafs instead of coils, my son is on a limited buget and is leaning this direction. I told him to save his money for a long arm, truss for the 44,etc. but he thinks the leafs would work for him

Thanks for everyones help, I have good floors and want to keep them intact. I will seal them and then put ii the backing and then the carpet
-
Working on my MJ interior at the present time and need some advice. Am changing to buckets with a center console and wanted to check my floors for rust.. in the process of removing carpet, floors look very clean--no rust but I noticed the padding under the carpet seems like it is wet and holds moisture.. I want to coat the floors to protect them and reinstall carpet... Should I leave the padding out or should I reinstall it. Looking to see what other owners have done

Changes to jeep frame was made in 2003 when Rubicon came out, did you specify year when kit was ordered.

What is the best and easiest way to remove a leaking tank. Does the bed have to be removed or can the tank be dropped without taking the bed off
-
Have a 91 shortbed with a leaking tank, my question is, are all tanks the same? I saw some on ebay, does anyone know of a better source. Located in S. Indiana

the connector rod for the rear proportioning valve came apart when I put new rear springs on my comanche, is this really needed? if so should I add rod for the 3" lift or can I just leave it unconnected

Picked up my new project today, a 91 SWB Pioneer 6cyl. 5 speed, all stock with no rust, 90,000 miles, everything works. Want to get started asap so I will probably start with Lift and wheels. Paint is faded dark blue, so a paint job will be done before summer. Pics will be posted as project progresses

thanks for all the info, hope to get started as soon as I pick up the 92, will post pictures

are you interested in selling the rollbar for the swb
-
yes, just looking for something to make the comanche ride ok and look good, not interested in taking this off-rod, have other built jeeps for that. This will haul stuff to the farm and tow jet skis. Just wanted to make sure 4.5 will clear 32's. also what LCA does anyone recommend
-
In the process of purchasing a 92 shortbed,5 speed,4x4 with 80,000 miles, no rust. will need paint but I want to put a lift on first.. Would like to run 32" bfg At tires for the street. How much lift will I need?, What lift is recommended? Was thinking Hellcreek 4.5 inch rear with RE 4.5 front, If I use this combo will I need a SYE? Will not be used for trailriding, have other jeeps for that. Just what the jeep to look and ride ngood on the street
