So I purchased a 88 mj with a working plow for $500 a few months ago. It needed some brake lines and muffler. The only rust is above the rear flares. Rockers and floors are solid. When I bought it the guy didnt have a title but he said he will get one for me. He emails me saying dmv says there is a lien from chrysler on the vehicle. He writes to the address that dmv gives him and it gets returned saying wrong address. So I decide to email chrysler saying I purchased this jeep and if there was still any file on it showing it was paid off or if money was still owed. They write me back saying no such vehicle is on record with them and they won't tell dmv that its paid off because theres no record. So I have a MJ thats pretty clean and I can't sell it, register it, or even scrap it. I have no idea what to do with the truck. I really don't want to cut this thing up into tiny pieces. Any advice on what to do. I'm dealing with CT dmv.

That looks very clean.

Have him check the regulator. I'm not shure where its located. I know the older sentras are under the dash.

Talked to a guy at work and he said sometimes if the warning light for the charging system burns out it stops charging.

I was amazed the plastic clips were not broken when I grabbed mine.

I found some in a mj at a junkyard. Got them for $10. Replaced the bulbs and the worked.

I work at a nissan dealer. I can ask on monday if anyone has some idea. I think they offed a 6 cylinder in that year.

Sorry I completly forgot. Its a 89, short bed, auto on column, d35, d30, 3.55, 4.0, tan interior, bench seat, and 196k miles. It needs a headliner and the interior isnt in to bad of shape.

I picked up this mj a few weeks ago for $500. I got it because I wanted the plow. It had blown brake lines and no exhaust. I replaced the brake lines and threw on a muffler but its still loud. Its got a cracked exhaust manifold. Its got solid rockers, above the rear flares are rotting, and the driverside floor is soft. After the winter I'm pulling the plow and selling the truck but I'm not shure what to ask . So whats a good price to start with?

89 mj, 3.07, BA-10, 3in lift, 31s and a inacurate speedo I get about 18. I know it should be higher because on the highway my speedo says 65 but I'm really doing 80.

It has 2door power window switch? Thats exactly what Ive been looking for. Damn.

I have a 1988 firebird with a 5.0 TBI. It doesnt take off fast but does beat most ricers around here. I don't consider it a muscle car by any means. For fast cars I prefer GM. I love the new corvette. 430hp with a 6 speed tranny. I work for a chevy dealer and we do alot of work for callaway. They supercharge the new vettes and the power is 580hp.

If I could get a cleaner mj and a 97+xj for $500 I would. I have a decent understanding of sheet metal and unibody construction.

This is what I will be working with. Its a 89 4cyl, 4 speed, 4wd. Its a 95 4.0, auto, 4wd.

I'm getting a 89 mj and a 95 xj that both need work. The plan would be to combine the two into a 4 door mj. Should I do it?
