    RIPOFF City!

I agree with most on this issue. Gaming rigs need big RAM and good Vid cards. I am typing this on an Alienware Aurora M9700 2gigs of RAM and dual Nvidia 7900 vid cards running in SLI mode. Yes it was an expensive machine, but we won it from a Roadrunner contest online. You can take your old comp into any competent ( non big box ) computer shop and most likely have it upgraded. On your ram issue if the board doesn't recognize more than 512 make sure you are using the correct speed ram ( pc100 and pc133 ) are older modules and may not be recognized in newer machines. Check your old ram to see if a speed is printed on it then match that. Also note some older boards just can't hanlde more than 512 on the RAM. In my opinion building the box to your specs is way better than buying something of the shelf. Usually cheaper as well. Good luck with it.
  2. Nice man. Good to see other Comanches near me. I am in southern IN, but grew up in Louisville. What part of Louisville you in?? We have a red '87 Pioneer here 4.0L 4x4.
  3. My '87 Comanche has a problem where the driver side door doesn't want to catch and latch shut. The plastic on the visible latch mechanism is chewed up to say the least. I have had to weld the latch on the body ( inside that this is supposed to catch on ) back to the body. Anyone else had this problem?? If so how did you resolve it?? Thanks Shane
  4. Hello fellow listers. I am in need of a return hose for my '87 Comanche Pioneer 4.0L 4wd. I need the entire hard line as this is where it broke. All the local parts houses have the pressure line, but not the return line. I am in the southern IN, Louisville, KY area. I don't wanna go to the dealer if at all possible. Once again this is a power steering hose. It popped while my wife was on the way to the post office the other day ( our town is so small they don't deliver the mail ). NO stop lights either lol. Any help is greatly appreciated.
