I used these for plate lamps. I'm happy with them! Hopefully they last quite a while for the price.. I'll be upgrading to LED when I have problems with incandescent lamps.. Only downside, my tail lamps are severely lacking now.. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk -

They are just a standard 194 dual pack from the rack at O'Reilly's Auto. I'll get the info for you when I get back home. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk -

95/96 XJ Booster with ABS - will it work?
SledNeck91604 replied to 91Pioneer's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I used a new 95/96 booster and master from O'Reilly's, the 1/4" spacer was made out of aluminum. I should have the spacer drawing still, I'll post up some pics of it later if i can. I then replaced my factory proportioning valve with the Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve/distribution block. The bracket, screws, and pre-bent line setup that Wildwood sells for the prop valve is near perfect. The pre-bent lines are of no use as they are both bent wrong for the application and equipped with the wrong flare nut on the master side. The other issue is the outlet for the rear on the prop valve is very very close to the inner fender. A hand bent line will work if you bend close to the flare nut. I'll try to post up some pics of this too. I used short lengths of pre-bubble flared 3/16 line to make the master connections and double flared the other end for the proportioning valve. The master flare nuts are 12mm and 10mm bubble flare and the prop valve side are all 3/8". The swap was made easier by the prop valve as I used the included brake light switch instead of grinding the booster rod to make the lights work. I might have missed something but I'll try to get some pictures up later today. -

once again i'm really sorry i added the poll, it just made everything confusing, but thanx for all the info, from the pics i'm almost positive i have a T5, i'll have to crawl under after class today I know that i have an external clutch slave cylinder...if that means anything
-
sorry, talking about the 86, i realized it had a poll option and never played with it before so i had to try it out, i now wish i hadn't put that in there now where would i look for the intermidiate plate?
-
the perpose of the tread was the tranny identification lol, i prob. should have put the poll in just it had nothing to go with the accual question.

i'm trying to figure out what i have for a transmission, i have a 1986 Comanche 2.5L 4x4 with a 5-speed tranny, i know that i can't have a BA 10/5 because they didn't come out until 1987. I've heard that AX5 wasn't available with the 2.5L until 1987 also so that would leave me with the T5 right? I'm just trying to make sure i have my reasoning right because i've heard that the AX5 was avaible in 1986. thanx for any help in advance.

2wd-4wd conversion questions
SledNeck91604 replied to SledNeck91604's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Well here's the full story, i don't currently have the long bed, i'm gonna go pick it up next weekend so i'm not sure exactly what it is(it's free), my friend said it was a 85 and i think he might have said it was an 88 at one point so i'm really not sure what it is, he did say it was a four cylinder, not sure of the displacement. I'm not to sure of the engine in the 92, i haven't had any interest in it until now because it was a 2wd, but now that i know that it's pretty cheap and easy to convert, i'm starting my research, I think the 92 is a 4.0 but i'm not 2 sure. Sorry i wish i had more information, as soon as i know the info for sure i'll post it. -
I have a 92 2wd 5speed short bed and a 85 4wd long bed 5speed, i was thinking it would be better wheeling the short bed because of the wheelbase. I don't have either of these trucks with me right now as i'm in college. Does anyone know the specs of these truck so that i can start planning to convert the 92 short bed to 4wd? Any other info or recommendations would be greatly apprieciated. Thanx in advance for any help!!
