BIGHEEP
I am planning on swapping out my french slop box for an AW4. As I understand the AW4 is longer. I am also going SOA with .75 lift shackles. I need some opinions on weather or not the lift pulling the yoke out of the T case will equal out the added length of the tranny.
Bounty Hunter
It should. I went SOA and could use the little bit of extra length I've seen in the AX15 driveshaft.
BrettM
i did the same tranny swap, but had already lifted. when I put in an axle with about 1" longer pinion it was perfect for the lift though (d35 to toy8"), so I'm guessing you'll be about perfect in the rear. the front may be another matter.... That's funny... I have a Toy 8" sitting in the shed waiting to go in next year with a waggy D44 front. the front may be another matter.... I am going to be using my old Cherokee w/ AW4 front shaft.
