Ok, so I did the stupid thing and bought a cheap one on ebay.

 

Recently I accidently dropped my laptop with both USB ports having devices in them, and it broke everything all to hell inside when it fell, so I'm out both USB ports. I bought a 4 port PCMCIA card off of ebay.

 

It FINALLY came and it doesn't work.

 

I plug it in, it recognizes it, adds a bunch more USB buses to the Device manager, but nothing I plug in will work.

 

There's no brand name on the card, but there's a model number : QFASCB

 

Every search I did with that came up with eithr IEEE 1394 or 2 port USB cards, no 4 port ones.

 

Computer is a Dell Inspiron 1150 with XP Pro SP1.

Hey Correy, don't know if ya came across this bit of info but, it seems by that that you're not the only one having troubles with that particular card.
