GosaGT1988 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Whenever I go to start my engine I can tell it wants to start. I turn the key and it'll try and then starts to give up. If I hook up to jump start it, it starts up like it should. I checked the battery and the alternator and both are fine. Could it be something in my electrical system? Maybe the ignition switch/ignition coil?
dragonrider477 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 try a different battery or try your battery in a different car.see if the problem follows the battery.if so,a trip to the parts store for a new battery is in order.
BLHTAZ Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Check this thread of mine. You could have a similar problem... http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopi ... 0144#80144 Mine starts much better now ;)
GosaGT1988 Posted March 1, 2008 Author Posted March 1, 2008 I ran a diagnostic machine on my battery, that was the problem. It had an open cell. Replaced the battery (still under 3 year warranty) for FREE!!! HAHAHA!!! Thanks.
